To be honest a lot of people who started liking him only did it because they needed a reason to hate Izzy, Alex is awesome by himself and I’m sure he has a lot of true fans but a lot of people only start following him because of their hatred for Izzy.

After the McGregor era and the wannabes that followed, It's refreshing to see a fighter with almost no trash that just handles business. He has that mystical aura like OG mma fighters had 20+ years ago

I feel like for almost a decade alot of guys tried to mimic Conor, to an extent I get it (Conor was getting PAID and Drawing gates) there was a lack of authentic fighters, this dude just knocks people out, then proceeds to pray over his opponents! Dude is the real deal
