@@ener5361 hell does exist but its the grave. Hell is not what catholicism teaches. All die and stay in the grave (hell) until the resurrection. Catholics think they are all in heaven. It sort of defeats the purpose of Jesus returning doesnt it. God said , the wages of sin is death. Thats why the grave could not hold Jesus, he did no sin. Therefore, his soul could not see corruption, and God, true to his word, could not leave Jesus in the grave to see corruption. But we all sin, so how can we be saved? By believing Jesus was crucified and raised from the dead and his blood pays the price for all mankind. Those who dont believe it, will die. Thats the basic gospel, withoit the garbage rome adds. Read Acts 2 v 29 " men and brethren, let me freely speak unto you of the patriach David, that he is both dead and buried, and his sepulchre is with us unto this day" verse 31 "He seeing this before spake of the resurrection of Christ, that his soul (Jesus) was not left in hell, neither his flesh did see corruption." 32 "this Jesus, hath God raised up, whereof we are all witnesses." 34 " for David is NOT ascended into the heavens. but he saith himself, the Lord said unto my Lord, sit thou on my right hand". That demolishes catholicism. What does Paul say concerning the resurrection? 1 Thessalonians 4 v 14 "for if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus, will God bring with him." 15 for this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are ALIVE and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them (go before) which are asleep. 16 for the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God, and the dead in Christ shall rise FIRST: 17 then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air, and so shall we ever be with the Lord." Thats what people refer to as the rapture..this is when armageddon takes place and the Lamb destroys the wicked from the earth. Verse 18 "wherefore comfort one another with these words". Ok, thats scripture. Quite different from the catholic stories of burning eternally in hellfire and floating in heaven after youve been purged of remaining sins, burning in purgatory. Total garbage, but it frightens the hell out of catholics, who have been brainwashed from a child. The catholic version is not comforting at all.

@@k3630 Everyone who believes that Jesus Christ is the Christian god's son, they are Christian. Hence, both Protestants and Catholics are Christian. Heck, Protestantism was born from Catholicism (and split into so many different branches). You can keep on saying that Catholics aren't Christian, but that doesn't make any sense and is simply wrong.

As an admitted heretic ( Gnostic, EGC ) though I find the actions of the inquisition to be distasteful in the least, it’s extremely necessary to create videos such as these to make sure the mistakes of the past are not repeated. I sincerely hope that religious freedom and tolerance spreads throughout the world and education stamps out intolerance.

Education doesn't automatically lead to intelligence unfortunately, Germany in the 1930s was the most highly educated society of its day and look at the atrocities they committed. But I agree that these excerpts from history should never be forgotten to help guide society in the future to avoid such horror.

@Lisa Stettin He's not talking about a modern priest. You need to go back and listen. This guy lived in the middle ages, 600 hundred years ago, and the things he did are well documented. He even writes about them himself. The Spanish Inquisition did horrible, horrible things to try to force Jews to convert to Catholicism.

The insane part is that the translation of his name is "Burning Gates" or "Burned Gates"...

They needed the mob back then. People like Thomas would end up on milk cartons in my neighborhood. Then there would be no people acting like Thomas because the people that sound Thomas eventually would tell the story to the grandchildren and for generations to come people would stand and stare at the place where they found him horrified so terrified at what had happened to him for being such a naughty puppy. The mob used to run in New York City, I should preface that with the word Italian, because there is a mob in New York and that’s why it sucks now. Organized crime despite its shortcomings, does have a way of keeping the neighborhood quite tidy. Quite the opposite of unruly. When you grow up in a neighborhood with mob families you don’t worry about your mother getting off the bus late, you don’t worry about anything. Because people know to act right. The threat of swift and blinding violence is never a bad thing. Why do you think little kids are afraid when their mother says “wait till your father gets home“. The father doesn’t even have to be physical with a child at any point previously. But those words bring fourth the thought of possibility of swift and blinding violence that one cannot comprehend. The end result, the kid ask right. Period. Now everybody has their little tails fluffed and their pillows put nice for them and nobody can say anything that might hurt somebody’s feelings. Do some research into what the bolsheviks did in Europe around 100 years ago. The fear of swift and blinding violence being removed because of the obvious deception and they will never get blamed for anything. It’s very easy when you write history and hand it to people to a spouse 15 years later. Have they been in my neighborhood lol World War II would’ve never happened… There I said it!! They would’ve known to act right and no Thomas or Adolf would have been able to sit down long enough to write manifestoes. I'd like to recommend Catholic Truth channel with Bryan Mercier. He has a ministry and does alot of reasearch regarding accusations with historical figures , he also debunks the many lies that circulate about us . Fr Chris Alar from the Divine Mercy channel has a series called Explaining the Faith. He's an authority in the Church, there people can learn what we truly believe and why . God bless 💖

I am a Catholic with Scottish ancestry. Thomas was a GOOD and just Saviour of the Catholic Faith in Spain. The Holly Inquisition was absolutely necessary to fight back to heretics. God bless him!
