Haha, you beat me to it! I used to live near Grosvenor Street (round the corner from my first school, Cottage "Grove") so am well aware of the pronunciation too!
I'm not 100% sure, but I believe the family's name is pronounced "Grove...ner" or "Grawv....ner". The "s" is silent.

You dont pronounce the s .
At the very least you could have got the pronunciation of the name write, 'half of london' ridiculous and not true - mayfair and the west end maybe, half of london simply not true.
