TBF I think Verna killing her off early was also meant to worsen the damage to the Usher brand and reputation, with their best PR director not around to spin things in their favor on media. Imagine how pressed Roderick and Madeline would be to keep stock prices up without Camille there to mitigate the brand damage as each sibling dies next. There's also the fact that, out of all them, Camille and Victorinne are the most "successful" of the Usher kids - Perry hasn't done jackshit, Leo produces/invets in video games (something that doesn't change the world like what Roderick and Madeline wanted), Tammy has yet to start her Goop knock off subscription box that looked no better than a youtuber's merch and Frederick...does what exactly?

@@cainyourkids I'd debate on Victorine being successful. She's the same case as Napoleon in terms of them not working directly. Dr. Ruiz does most of the job in the lab, the only thing Vic did was rush things and screw everything up. My point is, Camille was the only saving grace of the family as she's taking care of things of the family no one else can do, I'd say she's the most fourth important after the Roderick, Madeline and Arthur Pym.

@@yveslittleton True, but while Victorine wasn't working on the project herself directly, it was her name and her money (Usher money) that funneled into the project. Had the heart mesh been succesful, sure it'd be Dr. Ruiz who'd be lauded, but all the money will be going to Fortunato and/or the Ushers regardless. You're definitely right that Camille is the most important out of all the kids, her job basically kept their brand and image good and profitable - and even Madeline respected Camille enough to defer to her when it came to PR post Prospero's death.

“He didn’t invite his sister to the orgy” and “someone is going to notice that Morella Usher doesn’t have skin anymore” are iconic and underrated lines.

The hate behind "TINA!" and "BETH!" is great

Fun fact, her hair was white because she was based on mirage from incredibles.

God, I loved her interactions with Leo. I think he was the only one she really got along with: the coping together, opening up, allowing vulnerability, even the genuine little giggle at his cake joke. It’s a shame we didn’t get to see more of them together.

I was really sad when I realized she is going to be killed in this so early episode 😇
