@@kleinkaufman8940I doubt it, Bucky while mindwashed as Winter Soldier is overhyped, in the actual film Steve while only armed with his shield kept up equally with him and later on outright knocked him out. Later in Civil War T’Challa got the upper hand on him in his Winter Solider mode as well without even his suit. His old feats don’t imply he’d beat Walker

I see a lot of people saying it took two people to take down john and that bucky has been nerfed... I just want to point out that bucky only used his metal arm in defense and never used it to punch john at all. Even after john got his arm broke and swinged at bucky, he grabbed john with both his arms and then used his regular arm to punch john. But i really want bucky to go winter soldier once again. He's holding back too much to the point he is letting himself get hurt because he knows he can heal quickly than regular people. I want him to unleash like how wolverine did in logan forest fight

"Why are you making me do this?" that's a good question actually. If they didn't insist on him giving them the shield, the government would've made him drop it later on anyways. This wasn't about taking the shield. It was about preserving Steve's legacy. John proved himself unworthy and the government wasn't ever going to pass it on to a truly Good Man, just to the next best soldier they have. The only one capable of carrying on Steve's mantle was Sam and they both knew it.

I feel like they shoehorned John being unstable to take back the shield. When he first appeared right up before he killed someone he was a very calm and reasonable person, fitting for the role of Cap tbh. Sam and Bucky seemed far more antagonistic and unreasonable

@Doomslayer I would refer you to Bucky fighting Cap in The Winter Soldier. Bucky pins Cap and is punching him in the face full force with his mechanical arm, and Steve withstands it. It's fair to assume since John took the SS formula that he could withstand the same force. Which is why I stand by my theory that Bucky is holding back.

Steve was a humble and earnest man, John is a prideful and arrogant man, thinking his title as “Cpt. America” carries the weight. No it’s the man behind the mask that gives the title any weight. That’s the crucial difference between Steve and John. Steve puts the man before the mask. All John has is the mask. No one acknowledged John, not even himself. Did you forget the end of falcon and the ws when John selflessly choose to save those people in the car that almost dropped and would have killed those people. Bucky is a complete cunt in this show. He has a completely unwarranted hate-boner for John and keeps disrespecting the guy after he saves their lives, takes him out of prison and offers to work with them. Fuck him.

I love this fight scene :D

You see in the beginning, it's B+S who attack him, and when John and Sam stop, its Sam who attacks first. Only after, does walker start going for the kill, and may i remind you he's going through PTSD at that point aswell. Sam, who had experience with veterans with PTSD absolutely recognised that and engaged anyway. This is one if the many scenes in FATWS showcasing Bucky and Sam's arrogance. May i remind you that the reason this scene occurs, is because John's friend was killed by a super soldier, who then ran away and only surrendered when he had no other option to. Even Steve would recognise the threat of a Suoer soldier in the terrorist's position, and even though he'd handle it better, I'd say John handled it pretty well, he killed him as the terrorist had killed the friend, with one punch might i add, meaning if he hadn't killed him, and the terrorist was able to escape the position he was in, he could have killed civilians easily. John also only took up the role of Captain America because he realised that if he didn't, someone worse may do so, after he was initially unwilling to accept it. If that doesn't show that he's a good man (lesss than Steve but still good), idk what does.

when tony says that shield does not belong to steve then steve throws it there because even without shield he is still captain america and that makes him captain america

I can't see how this dude is able to take on the Winter Soldier, many more years of fight experience and on top of that has a metal arm, I was so disappointed by this.

The beginning reminded me of the joker line from Zack Snider justice league "You almost had me"

I wanted to see more of Johne walker in chaos. He was really good at expressing his lust for the title of Captian america

After watching the clip for the first time, I thought Walker was a better fighter than Steve Rogers since he was able to take on Bucky and Sam together with quite a few almost wins. But then I realized, Bucky and Sam were just trying to get the shield. Then I watched the clip again, I also noticed that Bucky was not using his vibranium arm to deal damage but only to block Walker's hits and to grab on to the shield. Winter Soldier Bucky offs Walker in 10 seconds.

I gotta say, I wasn't a fan of the show, but this fight was really well done.

People complaining about bucky being nerfed have not been paying attention. He purposefully kept his winter soldier mode at bay because he isnt that person anymore. The winter soldier was powerful because he was a killer bucky barnes is not.

Bucky was kind of a let down here. The lesser experienced Walker was wooping a guy who's fought with and against Steve Rogers, needing Sam's help. 😢

People likes Steve and Bucky a lot more.. But the fact is, before serum's effect, Walker already a perfect soldier while Bucky just an average and Steve just a skinny good man..

Dude are you serious ? The "innocent men" you said John killed was a super soldier terrorist who murders civilians, blowing up buildings, and terrorize the world. He was holding John so Karli could due the killing blow on John until Lemar jumps in sacrificing his life for John. Honestly John's killing on the terrorist was justifiable they are a threat to the world, next time watch again and pay attention again on the last episode

Best moment in entry Show. I like John Walker like character but he is not Captain it is evident. I always treat him like Peacemaker from DC. Want him in movies like USAgent!

1:21 the genuine fear I felt in this scene, I knew he wouldn't die it just scared me. I also wanted to jump into the tv and beat Walker's ass

Well there was no point in holding onto him. He lifted him up to pull off the move and John banged Bucky up pretty badly too.

If Bucky still had his Winter Soldier conditioning, this fight would have probably been over very quickly. He would have been fighting to kill him, and he very well could have. At least, in my opinion. I could be wrong.

Well the dude was struggling with his trauma of the past as the Winter Soldier so its understandbly he was holding back alot. Because he doesn't want to be like that anymore

He was chosen by the government to be Captain America its not John's fault that he wanted to be the one's to be Captain America plus its Sam's fault for handing over the shield to the government in the first place.

I disagree. John was gifted this title as a decorated veteran with many accolades. He was selected by a government that wanted control over "Captain America" which they never were able to with Steve Rogers. As much as he wanted to do good, it was for his own benefit more so than actually keeping the world safe. As soon as he saw the only way to stop the Flagsmashers was to kill them, he already fell into the trap. 02:21 illustrates this perfectly, in the heat of the moment, the only thing he truly cares about is his title, the serum only amplifies the users motivations and traits. When it's either Steve or Sam, they will say they're "a kid from brooklyn" or a "black man wearing the stars and stripes" respectively. "Doing good" is a relative term, everyone wants do to good, but it's their motivations that determine if it's for the greater good, or personal gain.

@@eugenelei7910 John is aggressor by character type, Steve wasn't. So John is less tolerant to fails. And we see how many shit he has got since become CA. I understand JW like character and am down with John too. But I understand than person like him couldn't be cap, it is evident. Sad story

captain America would never get jumped like that and have his shield taken.

Granted when bucky was the winter soldier emotions were turned off but he gave Steve Rogers everything he could handle and yet John Walker could handle bucky and Sam? And bucky had an upgrade with the vibranium arm. They made it like John Walker was more formidable than Steve Rogers .

John Walker may believe he is Capt. America; however, Cap only killed when there is no other choice. We all get the reason why John did what he did, but he wasn't ready. I'm glad they took the shield from him.

don't act like the original cap was a saint.. he knew bucky killed tony's parents but didn't tell him. you can say it wasn't intentional because bucky was under hydra's control but come on now. cap hid the truth from tony and beat his ass when he tried to go after bucky.

These shows are so pathetic when it comes to power distribution: 1) Falcon would do absolutely nothing to Walker - he has been significantly buffed here 2) Bucky would completely destroy Walker - he has been significantly nerfed here
