She stole other people's money (some just average folk living pay check to pay check, like wtf?), and yet money has no real meaning to her? It ONLY does. She's willing to sin for it. The social status was second. She cared more about being pampered than popular.

you're right, sounds just like Netflix. They'd want to turn it into some female empowerment movie. "Gettin' one over on the man" and overlooking the real story. The woman she defrauded for a years' salary, the people fired from their jobs because this girl defrauded their businesses. She doesn't deserve a movie deal. She deserves to grow old, a nobody, and die in obscurity as a punishment for the harm she did to so many people. Not be glorified by Netflix and the NPCs who watch this type of movie they produce about worthless people, glorifying them just because they happen to be female. There are MANY MANY women who did great things that have been all but forgotten that Netflix can make movies about, to inspire great things in young women. I support that with all my heart, we need that. But not this convict, I say let her serve her time and deport her, bar her from speaking with Netflix's writers and representatives.

They don't want to discomfort the ultra-wealthy, and issues tend to be resolved more subtly, at their comfort. Last thing you want to do is to pester a VIP for issues, especially on their vacation, and they pay the money for such service. Supposedly, private yachts have an insane amount of engineering to make sure staff almost never comes into contact with the owner. All their needs taken care off, behind their back. IMO if she wasn't a woman she would not have gotten away with it for so long. Even today women are generally given the benefit of the doubt and assumed to not be engaging in criminal activity, as women generally do not deceive and defraud at such levels of risk of prison but that is changing rapidly especially with high profile cases like this. It's also very common for girlfriends/daughters who have rich partners or families to be very blase about paying for goods and services, the assumption always being that there will always be a rich partner or family member who deals with their financials to pick up the bill later.

This is actually a genius plan that just has a lot of risk, and she was unlucky. Because if you own property in Manhattan, and make it just 1% more popular than the average Manhattan place, you will become filthy rich. Problem is that you need a lot of capital aswell how do you become 1% more famous than the other places? And Anna came up with the genius solution: just start spending like you are unbelievably rich by abusing the credit system. The bank will lend any capital as they willl think her collateral is endless. She will get fame because people will have never seen anything like that before and be amazed, mainly because the image she paints of herself isn't possible to exist.
