Once, I was lost in the woods. Fairies, light bugs, unicorn, elves and others helped me to return home. I will never ever forget that magical moments. At times, I can feel their present. Or see swift lights of them zooming around me...not sure what to do.

my first memorable fae experience was ~2 years ago; i had always felt drawn to the fae and learned about them here and there, but it wasn't until this i could say i'd interacted with one for certain. i had been out in the woods and found the most beautiful butterfly that was clearly dying. his wing was torn in half and i knew that he wouldn't survive even if i tried to help him. i picked him up as gently as i could and placed him in some flowers rather than the path where he could be stepped on or eaten, then went on my way. a few days later i found a leaf on my pillow in the morning like someone had placed it there; my windows were closed and it wasn't from any plant i could recognize. i had a really strong feeling it was a gift; maybe the butterfly was a pet of theirs. i wasn't sure the respectful thing to do so i kept the leaf and left a blueberry next to it as an offering. i moved away shortly after and haven't had or sought out another experience, so i hope i did the right thing and i haven't lost that connection. i would love to learn more and meet with them again face to face if they felt safe. thank you for the video!

I have not had the opportunity to see her in her own form yet but, her and my other spirits in my keep say if I continue to practice and meditate I'll be able to see through the veil at will. I'm happy to find someone else who lives the fae like I do.

as a child I had a feary encounter in my dream, they came out of my closet and woke me up in my dream and then lead me to my closet which had now turned into some kind of portal. they looked kind of human? but not quite, they looked "off" but as a kid I didnt mind XD They then asked me if I wanted to join them on a adventure. I told him, and I kid you not- "sure! but only if you bring me back here when I tell you." they nodded and agreed to the terms. I was then lead through this portal and I for the life of me cannot remember what or who I met/saw (I will explain why) at the end of the tour/journey they turned back to face me and told me with a straight face. "you can go back to your world, but you will not remember anything of this world, or you can stay here but never return to the human realm." and as a child I was kind of confused, but ended up saying. "I want to go back to the human realm." they looked disappointed but brought me back because they promised me. They opened the portal to my closet again and tucked me back into bed, I remember falling asleep in my dream and waking up in real life and running to the closet to see if the portal was still there. sadly it wasn´t. But this is definitely one of my most amazing spiritual things to have happen to me as a child. :D

I have never seen a faerie, but I feel their presence. On a few occasions I have been touched by them. I've always had a deep love for the "little people" especially the forest folk. When I sit really still, on the rock in my little woods, I can sense them close by. It's there that I have felt their touch. I consider them friends. I was a lonely child and the faeries kept me company. I believe that the reason I have not been allowed to see them is because I am a truth-teller. I would find it difficult to keep my excitement to myself. I do hope that one day I will have mastered the ability to keep something so sacred to myself, and that then I will be blessed to see my friends. It isn't necessary, though. I am fully aware of their watchful presence and am grateful for that. I will try your tea, though. I love Elderberry. Thank you for the recipe.

Oh crap, I always thought I´ve seen a ghost or shadow person, but it was more likely fae! It was a disembodied black head (black like pitch dark black), weird hair, red eyes and big white teeth. I was 8 years old, just sleeping, when something just woke me up. It was 4 am in the morning and I could partially see my room around me. Suddenly this dark head appeared in front of me, made weird gurgly sound and then dissapearred. I used to believe it was a ghost or a messenger of death, because since that day I knew that something really bad was going to happen - my grandma´s sister died half a year later. When I got into witchcraft and saw stories of other people seeing the fae folk, I didn´t believe them much (trust issues) but as soon as you mentioned the disembodied head, my stomach just dropped.

I used to go to a park as it was getting dark when I was about 16 or 17 and play fae music on my phone and ask the fae to show themselves to me. They would usually appear within 15 minutes. They usually showed themselves as small balls of light of various colours; however, I did once see a gnome peeking at me from behind a tree, but hid as soon as I looked in their direction. Once, after spending some time with them, I was walking home and crossed a busy road and was almost hit by a car until everything around me slowed down. Not like the car put the breaks on, but things were in slow motion around me. I believe the fae saved me that day. I am nearly 22 now, and haven't contacted or seen the fae in years, and I sort of think they won't show themselves to me again. But I would love to have them in my life again.

I think I saw what I've only been able to describe as 'imps' when I was really little, but it was an unpleasant experience. The most striking thing about them was their completely black eyes and multiple small sharp teeth, like a shark. It's their sharp teeth that scared me at the time because I used to watch animal documentaries and sharp teeth meant "predator" to me. The realization I was completely awake and not dreaming is also what startled me. The closest thing I've seen drawn in real life that looks like what I saw are the river fairies from 'Oz the Great and Powerful' movie. Just without the wings and tail. I think it was after that experience that my human veil became stronger because I didn't want to see those again.

I've always had weird flashes of light in color appear to me. Sometimes it shows up as a area devoid of color. I actually got my eyes checked and a brain scaned as a child. There was nothing wrong with me... it wasn't until I was older that I realized I had a very thin veil. Even my understanding of death and life and my place in time and space always seemed so clear and I could never understand why the people around me couldn't grasp it. I've learned to not say things or do things that upset people, and I've learned to find joy in human monotony. But when I can I just sit and peer through the vail and feel at home again.

Something “weird” has been happening to me for as long as I can remember, and I wanted to know if any of you has had something similar? When I’m in a really really dark room, I can sort of see shadows/creatures or animals moving, I’ve always thought of it as my mind imagining stuff to sort of “fill out” or entertain itself when there is no visual stimuli. When I was little it used to scare me SO MUCH, to the point I would cry pretty much every single night and had to sleep with my TV on. I have been able to rationalize it, but it still happens all the time, and I have always been too scared to actually discuss it because people would think I’m insane. I can also see little brightly colored dots (red, green, light blue and brown) falling like in a cascade pattern, when I sort of keep my sight still on a surface. It’s easier when It’s a dark room (this little dots would keep me entertained when I was little and afraid at night). I still can definitely see them, but I can easily ignore it day to day and forget I can even see this things. Does someone has an idea about what I see? Or of whatever is happening to me?

Omg yes I have the same experience. It was even more intense when I was younger but now it seems to have faded. But I still see little colored dots in the dark. I don’t see shadows and creatures anymore though. As a child I remember I told my mom about it, because I was terrified and couldn’t sleep at night. Once the little bright dots moved and formed the shape of a human body and I remember seeing this and being petrified of fear. Anyway I went to the ophthalmologist when I was younger, to check if the problem came from my eyes. But my eyes were completely fine, I still don’t know what it is.

Once I saw a cat out of the corner of my eye while I was in the garage, taking care of baby chicks. I thought I had left the door closed, so I freaked out, but when I turned to see the cat it was gone. I rushed to the garage door, and it was left open, and the cat I thought I saw (I have two pet cats) was sitting in the doorway. It was not nearly enough time for the cat to have rushed from one place to another, and I was able to shut the door before they got in. I've always wondered about that encounter... It is utterly unexplainable to me, and whatever apparition I saw, saved my baby quail chicks!

When I was younger I always heard voices, saw balls of light or shadow, and once even saw a other worldly figure that (in a dark room) looked all black and I could only see their eyes and the unnatural way they moved. As I became a teen I started to tell myself if was just my eyes or mental health related (even though I don’t don’t have any mental health problems other than possibly anxiety/depression), and that’s when I started seeing less. I’m excited to have found your channel and learn more 💖

I love that you advocate so strongly for monitoring your mental health. I have schizoaffective disorder and while there are people in my family that are sensitive to the spirit realm, I've unfortunately never been one of them. I've tried in my youth before my illness manifested and I tried again as an adult and I could never quite lift that veil. At this point though, I've accepted it and I'm totally okay with it. The only things I see are my own hallucinations and that alone is quite an experience so I'm okay with not being able to see the fae. I don't think I'm the type who would handle encounters very well as I'm quite paranoid so I believe it's for the best that I stay disconnected from their realm.

I am impressed by your willingness to come forward about all of this with face and all. I wish I could with my career choice. I love that you do mental checks on yourself to because I have to do the same damn thing. Family and friends are supportive of my crazy so that helps me deal with it. Edit: Your a badass and I have thought about outsourcing and paying a youtuber to share my information and experiences.

This video is pure magic. It straight up just pulled me out of a depression, and now I feel sparkly and joyful. Thank you for turning my day around and helping me to remember some cool things from childhood! When I was a kid in elementary school, I used to look for faeries in the mulberry trees and leprechauns in the brick walls. I don’t remember actually seeing anything, but I had a blast wondering if I would. I would also make faery figurines out of Fimo clay and make houses for them in my backyard out of sticks, leaves and grass and also make leaf boats for them in the birdbath. When you mentioned disembodied heads, I literally gasped and felt something hit my heart, because I instantly remembered being a baby in the crib in my parents’ room and seeing three or more floating heads in a single file line, floating in and out of the bathroom. They were all green with black ponytails, and they were just opening and closing their mouths, and my baby brain perceived them to be babbling. I remember them often actually, but I never considered that maybe they were of the fae! Now I’m excited to take a walk up the hill this evening and open up my doors of perception. Carefully and respectfully, of course 💚

I haven't seen anyone in glamour but I do seen them walking at night. But they appear to me as clear beings or in the image of water. As a child I could see them. They would protect me and I would talk to them. As a child some of them where scary but I didn't know it was a faery until now. Now tho I'm pretty calm when I see them.

this video is the best i’ve seen on the fae. i’ve always been drawn to them, always been compared to them, and had many small experiences with them as a child which, later on, i’d written off as imaginary. but you explained fae experiences and fae sight in a way that i actually understand as very real and makes sense, and this is totally game changing for my practice!!! i’m so grateful for your content mint. from one chronically ill witch to another!

I honestly believe that thinking of hallucinations as "not real" is unhelpful and potentially dangerous because it can make the general public think anyone with any form extrasensory perception is "seeing things that aren't there". Mental illness such as schizophrenia are not pleasant and are uncontrollable. This doesn't mean that the things they see or hear are not real, but the way their state of consciousness changes is all over the place, unhealthy and debilitating. There are a lot of tribal societies that treat people with hallucinations as potential shamans meaning that they consider their visions as real and valid. Shamans train for many years to be able to control and access different states of consciousness. Here in the modern west we tend to pathologise and stigmatize everything that we can't explain with materialistic science and that can lead to some dangerous and even racist assumptions about other cultures, people and practices.

I just found your channel, so I don't know if you made another video on the mental illness point you made. But I felt that hardcore. I have mental issues and have had episodes of trouble separating reality from delusion before. so getting more into magick and spirituality, I'm always a bit worried in the back of my mind that I might be hearing things, seeing things, feeling things, or reading into things that are simply a product of my mental illness. I'm certainly learning to trust myself and the universe more, but it's definitely nice to hear that point addressed. Rock on 🤘

I've taken your advice and it worked. Last night even caught an orb on camera but before seeing them they would touch me even push some part of my body in a very noticeable manner. Before they started touching me I would see something leap from my plant leaf but invisible. At this state I was partly putting it off but they they started running around my house. Their footsteps sounded soo cute.

I’ve watched a few videos on witchcraft and magic and fae and all those sorts of things, but this is the first time I’ve found someone I feel like I can instinctually trust? I just got a feeling that you actually know what you’re talking about. So I was so happy to hear you touch on the topic of mental illness in relation to spirituality or magic, because this is something that’s always been really apparent to me. When I was younger I had some pretty notable moments where I managed to just “know” about things before they happened. For example there was one time I was in church and there was a small ordeal somewhere at the back of the room, people whispering to each other or whatever. The thought popped into my mind that there was a fire, just totally unemotional or anything, more like it was just a fact. Lo and behold a few minutes later the pope announces to everyone there was a small fire at the back of the church but that they put it out quickly and everything was fine. There was also another time when my family was having a garage sale and a woman came in that reminded me a lot of a character from a tv show I was watching, like I just couldn’t stop staring at her because I couldn’t believe how similar she seemed to me. Only to then find out she actually had the same name as that character she reminded me of. And what was weird was that she didn’t even have to tell us her name, but she did for whatever reason. That one actually floored me lol. But once I got into high school and started struggling with anxiety and depression thinking of those moments really added fuel to the anxiety fire, because I wasn’t able to differentiate between what might be real and what might be my anxiety. I got worried that every thought that popped into my head would actually happen. Ever since then though I haven’t really had those kinds of “psychic” moments anymore. Plus, the more I learn on mental illness the more I realize just how easy it is to slip into those spirals of unreality and disassociation, or full on psychosis. Where you get stuck being unable to tell what’s real and what isn’t and it’s so hard to escape because you just can’t trust anything. And the more I see that I could easily fall into that myself. Still though, I always had such a craving for magic or things that seemed not of this world. Even as a kid it was like I was always so disappointed in the idea that our reality is all there is and I refused to believe it. I’ve been convinced that I don’t even belong in this reality for as long as I can remember. And I miss the time when I was a kid and still whole heartedly believed that I would eventually find what I was looking for and be able to step into that magical reality. So I’ve been looking into witchcraft and things like that. And it has been helpful to hear people talk about intuition and how you can often tell the difference between it and anxiety because intuitive thoughts won’t carry strong emotions, they’ll just feel like fact, the way those moments felt when I was younger. But anxious thoughts will, of course, make you anxious. But it’s still hard to tell. So anyway I’m just glad there’s someone else who understands how close things like spirituality and mental illness can be but it’s also reassuring to hear that they are different from each other you know 😅 Would love to hear more on that topic.

There’s been times I’ve been home alone and doing dishes or doing my makeup and heart dropped because I knew I wasn’t there alone and I would see something out of the corner of my eye , or a shadow on the wall and it’s usually when I’m alone . But when I would turn I wouldn’t see what I know I saw from the corner of my eye but I could still feel it’s presents there, I told my friend I feel like it’s male energy , and it’s been around the house 🏡 a lot lately , doesn’t feel harmful so I haven’t turned it away . Just let it be . It totally makes sense to me now about seeing stuff not straight in view but more out of your peripheral vision and why a spirit or entity would do it this way. Thank you so much mint for more clarity.

The veil metaphor is perfect I don’t think most people are stupid just most people choose not to know anything beyond their bubble of knowledge I don’t think I’ve ever had that veil and so I find it hard to talk to veiled people who only want to know about mundane things. The people I know are very closed minded so its hard to get them to understand what I talk about.

I wrote books, made up my own faerie world, collected stones and spent all of my time outside trying to find/play with them. I see bright white/off yellow flashes of lights in my peripherals and pale blue whenever I’m in my room at night looking at my ceiling trying to sleep.
