Kim and Penn hands down. Not only did they race smart, they overcame personal issues (dyslexia, ADHD, Anxiety, challenging eyesight etc.) and they did it as a true team with a great attitude. All while having to take covid test almost daily.

In all fairness, Amy and Maya were at least strong enough to be able to complete all of their given tasks by themselves, while Brooke literally begged for help from other teams, when she had to make a metal ladle in leg 4 of the Amazing Race season 29.

Josh & Brent's win is one of those Race moments that I rewatch from time to time. It's just so gratifying to see them win it all at the end after what they endured starting the Russia legs. Speaking of which, the story line of the latter half of season 21 was just TAR perfection. Even though the tasks were not the best, the final 6 that season and all that happened (airport delays for Abbie & Ryan and Josh & Brent and their odd camaraderie, James & Abba losing their money and passport, Natalie & Nadiya inventing 'burning the U-Turn board' strategy and executing it while not even having to get their hands dirty, Abbie & Ryan at the organ detour, Josh & Brent's vow to win, Natalie & Nadiya's downfall, the Hello-Goodbye Roadblock) is why I watch and love the Race.

I don't like them as a winner, I don't like them as characye4s but I will say that their win is an important one for TAR history. (to me) they're the absolute cringiest team (especially among GREAT castings with the Twinnies, the Chippendale, the Rockers) but their win shows that consistency and season-wide "strength" doesn't really matter in TAR. what matters (and have always mattered) is running a perfect leg at the FINAL leg. that's all that matters. get to the end, and win. I still cringe everytime I think about them but they earned their spot at the finale and deserves their win. Again, they're SUPER WEAK racers and characters, but that's not what TAR is for.

@@myperspectiveisimnotblind I always always make the same point you do, what matters is running the best final leg you can. Whatever happened in leg 4 or 8, that don't mean schitt. What you can show in the finale is giving it everything. Ronald & Christina are prime examples of that too, you can have the most improved communication skills ever, but if your memory isn't locked down to a tee, it's Joever.

The best winner of all time is Zach from season 3. He is the only one who won against 23 opponents. He participated in 1 of only 5 seasons with 12 teams of 2 and is the only player to win not only against 11 teams of 2, but his teammate as well (he still had to share the money poor guy). The patience and hard work he showed throughout the season makes him the best winner of all time in my opinion.

Carrying a team to victory is what someone like Messi does. This poor guy didn't carry the "team", didn't even carry dead weight, he carried weight that was constantly pulling in the opposite direction. Seeing his patience just growing to absurd levels first in Switzerland, then Singapore and culminating with Vietnam... i just felt for the guy. If there was ever a nice guy who deserved to finish first, it's him.

Zach and Flo kinda qualify for both best winner and worse winner. Zach did most of the race while Flo was always complaining yet flirting with the twin model. She is the definition of a ball and chain.

Josh and Brent are a pair of very inspiring winners.

Average-wise, yeah, but Josh & Brent are more like the ultimate underdogs than "the worst" after all the bad luck thrown at them. Amy & Maya's was nice because they're only the third (and still the last) female winner, but it's always felt contrived due to the twist. I felt bad for Brooke & Robbie after they earned their spot fighting from last to 1st with a Speed Bump.

I absolutely loved the Beekman boys and still remember that I cried when I watched the finale. They were absolute underdogs as the other teams were in an alliance and they still came out on top 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

I have not watched this show in a while, but this was the show that got me into BB which got me into Survivor which helped me find your channel. I'm glad I'm here. Great job, man.

@@davidbullock1101I’ve heard the same thing from multiple outlets. How the whole season seemed to give them the edge over anyone else. Maybe producers need to do a season of all women or all older people. Rig those for the rest of us, ya know….

I knew Rachel & Dave and Meghan & Cheyne were at the top but I didn’t realize that Kim & Penn were right behind them! Similarly, I knew Josh & Brent and Amy & Maya were on the low end but I didn’t remember Brooke & Scott being so low. Very neat video! Also I never realized how consistent Phil is at awarding the million dollar prize before announcing the team as the official winners of the amazing race!

I don't care what the majority consensus is. Josh/Brent and Amy/Maya would come down as my best TAR winners. I love to see non dominant people find a way to win the race. Just like how I love to see teams like Dan/Andrew, Nic/Donald, Ron/Christina reach the top 3. Seeing physically fit dominant players win the race is boring asf 😂

Granted Amy & Maya, as well as Josh & Brent didn’t do so well in the race, but I got give them respect for not fighting each other like Dave & Rachel did in their race. On that note, A&M and J&B had to overcome every obstacle, trial and tribulation, and adversity that The Amazing Race could throw at them, and despite all that they never gave up.

i know this is a 7 month old video but im here to see if Ricky and Cesar would make it into the list knowing they currently have 6 first places and 4 2nd places with 2nd being their worst placement. Now they just need to win in next week’s finale…

I remember Meghan and Cheyne being like blond robots. They were always so efficient, so non-argumentative and so dominant. Im surprised they weren't number 1! :) Great Video. Now you gotta rank all the winners! ;)

Non-argumentative? Did we watch the same season? I distinctly remember Cheyne and Meghan tiffing at one point in a taxi.

Josh and Brent were my favorite winners. They were the most unlikely winners which made the win even sweeter. Season 21 was my favorite season also. My least favorite winners were season 6 Freddie and Kendra, especially Kendra with her awful comments about Africa.

Newest season (36) is competing for the best mathematical team who has 3 second place finishes and 5 first place finishes.

I’m in general more excited about Survivor but this TAR season I’m more excited for than usual!!!

Beautiful vid...my favorite winners was in season 5!!!

I still think season 7 was the craziest image getting a flat tire losing your first place lead to the pit stop but then not eliminated but had all your money taken for the final 3 had to beg people for money and still end up winning

And, let’s not forget that airplane pulling back up to the ramp to “allow” them to get on. If it was any other team from any other season, this would NOT have happened. And, to put those 2 teams back together in All Stars, was a slap in the face. Tell me THAT wasn’t the producers medalling in that. Say what you want, but I still call BS on that episode.

I've got a good idea or a video. You could do one on teams that were eliminated before they could reach the mat. Or a vid on teams that had to be medically evacuated (could be the same thing though tbh)

Oh well, Rob and Amber have earned a collective $2m from Survivor... I think they're probably doing ok. (FTR the actual, objective, absolutely-should've-won-twice-and-got-screwed-by-the-producers-both-times best team to never win is Dustin and Kandice. I may have vomited a little when Danielle and Eric beat them because of a final challenge that worked to their only strength - b-tching about the other teams. One of the most likeable teams in Amazing Race history, beaten by one of the least likeable, and in that way... oucha.)

@@H0lyMoley So true, Eric & Danielle was a... choice and fusion teams shouldn't even be considered for all-stars (same with the Mark & Mallory disaster). That's my only mark against the season because the rest is literally a legendary season in my list.

I think a more appropriate title for this video might be the “strongest and weakest” Amazing Race winners, not the “best and worst”. Because yes, I loved watching Josh and Brent and I was delighted to see them win, much more so than any strong winning team who acted arrogantly or didn’t get along.

I wished they added Non Elimination again..

I loved the final three of season 33!

Once Upon an Island are probably my favorite Survivor YT channel ( sorry Peridiam, RussellMuscle, Idoled Out & others ) its because of the story aspect of the channel, and a plenty of TAR videos as well ❤❤

I'm in a huge minority but I rooted for Eric and Danielle. I always viewed them as a great winner. You can say they only won one leg (the finale) to suggest they were bad, but they encountered a lot of bad luck at airports and got yielded twice. Things that aren't really their fault. To overcome all of that was really impressive to me and made them one of my favorite winners.

I would say. I do agree what you said about this video though. I rather prefer or loved to the underdogs who mathematically not great in terms of legs that they won with great character development who won the race over the certain ones who won a lot of legs & have won the race who are not fun to watch on tv.

Please do more Amazing Racing content. The Boston Rob and Amber video was so damn good!!!

I feel like it would be a very intriguing and intrinsic deep-dive.

This is why I love the show. Anyone can win, even if they aren't bodybuilders or aren't great at talking to people. I do want to see an over 50 season of Amazing Race, because age seems to be a factor in a lot of seasons. Some older pairs on previous seasons did AMAZING, but got eliminated because of injuries or exhaustion that younger people wouldn't have gotten.

Amy doing that delivery task in the Philippines with a fractured hip will forever be insane.

The problem with "best winners" is that they make the seasons they are part of very boring since it is clear they will be the winners for us the audience and that makes those seasons completely predictable wich removes all emotion.

Recently found your channel through Survivor videos. Really appreciate the effort you put into planning and editing. Many of the other discussion or list channels tend to just ramble over 30 minutes of random clips from random seasons and it's quite obvious there's very little effort put into their content. It gets very annoying and I feel the exact opposite about these.

Amy and Maya are the Ben Driebergen of The Amazing Race.

The Beekman Boys had the most luck. Had the bunching point at the end not been almost a full day, they wouldn't have won (and they almost missed the cutoff and would have been a day behind). Least satisfying winners. They already had their own TV show, so they didn't need the money.

Btw, why does Kim looks the actress who played as Madison in fear the walking dead unless that is her.

Definitely, #1 and 2 worst winners on this list were massive underdogs.

Season with kev jumba was most entertaining. The 2 early comeback seasons with the globetrotters and the cowboys were good too.

Time to update this, we have a new #1 best and it's not even close!

The way Scott carried Brooke and purposefully brought London and Logan into the final 3, makes him the #1 racer of all time in my book. But narratively, Colin & Christie’s redemption wipes all other seasons away

My favorite winners were Amy and Maya. I was happy that the race kep going and they battled and battled. Amy needed a break thou.

In the amazing race, Canada, season six, the winners were Adam and Courtney, which always and only ones came second, and would always be in the final two

Should've done 4 Best teams to win as well! Nick and Starr were so good their season and only had two bad legs where they finished below 3rd 3 times early in the Race. The rest of their season they were always in the top 3

What does watching people win TAR always make me happy-emotional?

Extremely disappointed Margie and Luke didnt win at least once. They were just so good. And fell so short.

Rachel/Dave should’ve actually been eliminated had it NOT been for that “equalizer” with the Ferry. Yeah, tell me the producers don’t have their “favorites”

Season 36 was as big of a disaster as the 'Family" Race.

Honestly I’m fine with any team winning as long as they aren’t being jerks for no reason. I hate the teams that dominate and throw so much shade on the other teams, making teams fight and laughing at them behind their backs. That or if their dysfunctional partners like Colin & Christie from season 5 or Logan & Chris from season 27 they didn’t deserve to win either

That’s how I feel about Justin/Diana. They figured they were better than everyone else. But, when they lost to Kelsey/joey, he was mad. He didn’t care for 2nd place at all. He wanted 1st. That was only because he thought because they had already won 7 legs, they “deserved” to win the million. He received his just desserts…🤣

Race performances are objective, but averages don't matter. If you ask me for "Best/Worst Winners", I'm going to think of who I enjoyed watching the most. To me, good winners have a story to tell and are likable. Josh and Brent are a legendary winning team because of how many close calls they have and for the effect it has on teams calling back to them when things look bleak.

Flo & Zach are the worst team to ever run the race because Flo did ZERO roadblocks

Holy shit, Brooke and scoot were on the first season I watched. 29 was a pretty fun season, I'm not that huge a fan of amazing race, I was rooting for the mom and dad pair, but broke and scott, despite their chaotic placements each leg, they were fun to watch. Brooke was a disaster, lmao

I will say thank god this is based on stats cause I could name some really terrible winners. S3 Flo and Zach. Mostly because of the former. She was terrible to watch, barely did anything besides complain the entire season, and peolle only remember her in a 'positive' mannee because they laugh about her diet coke joke. S6 Freddy and KKKendra - Kendra was one of the most racist people I remember from the show. She hated basically anywhere non European, and I honestly wish production had been more strict with that kind of behavior, ESPECIALLY when teams are visiting Senegal's House of Slaves. S11 Eric and Danielle - Lets combine two teams people felt indifferent towards. I wasnt shocked they ended up breaking up from each other. S28 Dana and Matt - Terrible people? No. Hinestly this is more a complaint about the lack of footage on them for most of the season outside of a fight in Dubai. It doesn't help when most people are mad that Bernie/Ashley, Sheri/Cole, and Brodie/Kurt lost over them. Again, due to screentime. It was hard to connect with the team. S29 Brooke and Scott - Broke praticalky begging people to do her roadblock is just...ugh. congrats to Scott cause like Zach he had a really bad female counterpart who seemed to only care about herself.

Jessica and Cody man, was rooting for those turds the whole season 30! So glad Evan lost, feel bad for Henry she beats him for sure 👍🏼

Worst winners were the couple who won the afganimals 1st season.

Worst winners in my opinion are Cody and Jessica. I can't stand them in or out of the race. Really would have preferred any other team from that season.

Bet u that third couple are divorced now.

How can you forget the original hippies for one of the best. I thought it was the greatest finish in the Amazing race.

Best Amazing Race team Nat and Kat . Worst team Tammy and Victor.

I couldn’t even watch the one with Scott and brook. I hated her moaning and winging sooo much I skipped the season

I couldn't get a read on most of the last-minute teams either especially because all of them were strangers and we're forced to like certain ones when they never had an existing relationship beforehand? I doubt more than half of them are still talking to each other anymore. Editing was poorly done as well throughout that season. Sometimes I wish that strangers and dating season were erased from my memory.

This an objective statistical look at the winners. The Beekman's million dollar check cashes the same as anyone else's. But if you, or someone else, made that video then I would check it out!

those country gays' wins always bothered me because they were the absolute weakest of the cast. I would have prefered anyone to win, including the feuding bf/gf and the rockers

To be fair, a few more teams of the cast that season were super weak. The substitute teachers (Gary & Will) you know were never gonna win with how much they disagreed and were physically and navigationally disadvantaged. Rob & Kelley, the monster truckers, no way on earth. Rob & Sheila, the lumberjackers out in Shanghai, eh.

Don't get me wrong I was rooting for the Twinnies as Nat is my fav survivor winner however the winning team weren't unlikeable by any means
