The Rani maa reference...that must be from saas, bahu aur flamingo...not sure if that's the reference but Dimple Kapadia nailed that role, which is great for her. I bet Neelam regrets it now. That show is a pretty big hit! 😅

A suggestion: After you guys complete this series, make sure that you guys react to Tanmay Bhat's reaction to season 2. The callback value, along with Tanmay's roasting style, would be absolutely enjoyable. Edit: Steph had a great wavelength with Tanmay Bhat's thought process. Even he also called for "Bollywood Husbands" immediately during his watchalong, both for season 1 and season 2, especially for Sanjay Kapoor.

I had completely forgotten this show existed, I wasn't very interested 3 years ago when I sawthe trailer but your reactions reminded me of it and for some reason now I'm in the mood for it! So I've started watching 😊 Ep 1 was fun. Ananya's parents are my favs so far. Sanjay seems cool but I'm not sure about his wife lol. But I love that they were in Paris for Le Bal des Débutantes (I'm French). Had no idea Shanaya or even Ananya got invited. I don't know why Steph called it creepy though?? It's just a retro high society ball that gives fashion designers a lot of exposure. There is nothing creepy about it, it's very proper and old fashioned.

I'll buy netflix subscription only if they ever make Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Husbands with Sanjay Kapoor and Chunky Pandey😭😭😂😂
