I have been using it, but I find it unpredictable. The "special ability" is to remove and reset the spawned mini-towers. I guess that is so it can make higher level ones, once you upgrade it? It looks like it needs lots of space around it to spawn its mini-towers effectively.

About the medium boss on last lvl drones act as frost rails and frost rails itself are spawning that heal it a lot so fabricator for medium not the best choice 😢
