Janome should contract you to sell their machines world wide . I live in Australia so a little hard to actually buy one from you but you have convinced me with your explanation of what the machine can do that it’s the machine I want. The local dealer, I saw yesterday showed me nothing compared to you. she didn’t even turn the machine on. Great video, easy to understand, very informative

I have to say, one of the best videos showing some of what this wonderful machine can do. Love the closeups showing the stitching. I'm in Canada, got mine last month. Love it.

Excellent training on this machine. Thank you so much! You are such a great instructor, and your voice is nice to follow! I am new to quilting, and would like more in depth training on this machine via u-tube. Step by step is what I need you to demonstrate! Thanks again.

You're a cool operator...er, sewing machine demonstrator. lol. Hi, I just bought the Janome 6700P and so far I'm really happy with it. Thank you for showing me how many of the great features work and how to make adjustments. I've watched your video for using Janome 9450 QCP. I was very tempted, but the price held me back, which led me to the one I bought. I'm sure I'll be just as happy with it for all my sewing fun (especially with the F foot!). PS: There were parts of your video which you talked about certain aspects of this model, but your cameraperson didn't capture it. That was a shame, 'cos I was almost 'glued' to my computer screen! Hope this is positive feedback for your next videos and please keep 'em coming...I'd love to learn more about Janome 6700P...pretty please. :)

I just learned more from watching your video than anywhere else. I'm new to the Janome and my "heart light" bought me a Janome 6700p. I"ve been a long time Singer user and I have to say I'm truly amazed by this machine. It's like driving a brand new sports car. Lots of power and easy on the ears!

This was so helpful! Thank you. I bought my 6700p in January 2020. I noticed your setting of the foot pressure dial was near the 1. I was told to keep it near or on the 3. Could you please explain the reasons to change this for quilting or regular sewing. Thank you again.

Because of your tutorial and other information I gathered, I purchased the Janome MC 6700P, just unboxed it and am so excited... the sewing space (throat) alone is worth the investment. I love the way you present information, thank you for sharing. I do have a question if anyone can help, please: I discovered the "Mode 2" designs ("Handmade" to be specific). I want the design to stitch once and stop, not repeat the design until I decide to stop the machine. How can that be accomplished? Thank you again for sharing your time and information. Greatly appreciated.

I could not love my 6700P more. I happily sold both my 6600P and 1600P for this beautiful angelic love child. It does everything perfectly. So tough, yet so precise. It is by far the best machine I have ever owned and I’ve owned and tried most! If you are thinking of getting one, just do it. You will absolutely love it too.

GEMMA WOODCRAFT 9mm wide so about 1cm tall for the upper case letters. Big enough for labels etc.! If you need bigger maybe get a basic embroidery machine as you can do much bigger! I have a basic Janome 350e and can do text designs up to 5.5” x 7.9”. 💕

Since you have owned a 6600P, have you found anything that the 6700P can't do like the 6600P? I own the 6600P but want to upgrade to the 6700P for the new features.

@@KiMJones307 Not a single thing! The 6700 is everything I loved about the 6600 & 1600 and nothing I hated! Everything is easier, better, faster... specific things I hated on the 6600: having to unscrew the whole acufeed foot to change feet - on the 6700 the acufeed flex ankle stays on and you pop the different feet on and off in a second! Hated the big metal thing hanging down near the needle - not there on the 6700. Hated having to unscrew the needle plates - 6700 has a button that pops them on and off! Going from normal stitching or piecing to free motion quilting is superfast and easy because of these things alone. And FMQ in this machine is diiivviine. The quick set bobbin love! Stick it in and start stitching! What else... It’s been so long now I do not miss the 6600 at all! Except the white and aqua. That was pretty. 😂

I’ve had this machine for about a year! I have learned more from your short tutorial then I learned from my dealer! You are GREAT! Can you help me with sewing genuine leather? I have the correct leather needles, I have leather sizes 80/12, 90/14, 100/16 and I have 110/18. I also have the ultra glide foot! However my fabric is not feeding through the machine. I still have to use tissue paper to get the leather to go through the machine. No where in the manual does it assist with leather! Thank you

This looks like an amazing machine. Do you know how the speed would compare to an old Bernina Aurora 430? It's what I have and while it's a great machine, it is painfully slow when I'm trying to whiz through edge finishing etc. I'm looking to find something that's almost as fast as an industrial but that still has zig zag and a few other options like button holes too. Thanks!

This is a wonderful video. Exactly what I wanted to see before I purchase this machine. Was there a special free motion stitch or did the machine sense the foot. The reason I am wondering is because I didn’t see you drop the feed dogs. I thought you have to do this in order to do free motion stitching or is this incorrect? Thanks again for the video!

I'm looking to buy my wife a new sewing machine as an upgrade to her Brother CS-6000i. Would this be a good upgrade for her? She does a lot of sewing for school projects (play costumes and such for the students of our little school) 4-H stuff, and so on. I really don't know anything about sewing machines or anything, but I know she gets frustrated with her Brother sewing machine because of reliability issues and stuff. Also, is a serger machine necessary if she has this? She hasn't asked for one or anything, but I figured if she needs a serger machine as well, I might as well buy bought, but I don't know if there is a lot of overlap or if they're basically two different tools? Any info would be great, thanks!

Is there a feature that brings the foot up a loot for thick layers of fabric or hoops in free motion use since I use my machine for thread painting a lot and it is always a problem to put the hoop in. Also could you send the phone number again ? Awesome video and I think I need this machine in my life ❤️

I have been seriously considering this machine. Right now I know absolutely nothing about quilting (but hope to learn that too). I use my machine mostly for garment sewing and bag making but want something that can handle thicker materials and layers. Would this machine be able to handle multiple layers of canvas or vinyl for bag making or would you say that this machine is not made for that kind of use?
