Glad for a focus on grappling and pistol use. It always annoys me when people for some reason associate John Wick with dual wielding when he's never done it.

It mostly started 'cause of his appearance in Payday 2. He released alongside the first akimbo weapons and his perk deck was the only way you could use them. Even after they unlocked dual-wielding for everyone, they didn't change it up -- instead of unlocking it, his deck now just improves it.

I assume Oyff played on Hard, given the reaction speeds and weapon accuracy of the enemies in this video. I went as far as a playthrough on "Very Hard" for my 1st Blind Playthrough because I felt a bit confident in myself. Missed the secret ending because I overlooked some of the drones while simply locking-in full Pointman. XD On the bright side, now I'm even capable of kicking ass in Extreme difficulty!

1:26 music + shooting= perfect 🤩

I can see why killing was John's only purpose in life, it's hella fun

The only complaint I would have is the excessive amount of sliding in modern shooting games like these. You kinda have to imagine John Wick oiling himself up for every fight to get this amount of slippery momentum... which has awakened something in me now that i've typed it.

Sliding is cool, though; Not in a movie as much, but with playing, it's great. Trepang2's slide has a lot of gameplay purpose too; You can slide into enemies to ragdoll stun them, and also, it's effectively a dash. To do it consistently, you need to keep shooting enemies too, because it spends stamina, and killing enemies gives you stamina and slow-mo.

Well that's no John Wick, but cutting age killing clone full of augmentations and bionics, designed to kill with maximum effiency. I think his ability to send someone in fly with a kick explains it.

Considering who Subject 106 is, in particular? He's an exception because he's "built different."

As always Oyff makes games look badass. We need 10 hour version of the end clip.

I need to see a full speedrun of him playing like this. It's just oddly relaxing seeing mass genocide.

At times I forgot this man exists but his skill is always Memorable

I like the part where oyff says "its trepangin' time"

Agreed. It has a FEAR influence but it doesn't play or feel like it at all. Selaco feels like FEAR, Trepang2 doesn't; Then again, Trepang2 was influenced by it, but wanted to be its own thing. Selaco is the actual spiritual successor, which aims to be its own thing while replicating FEAR's style. Trepang2's style is almost all its own.
