I live about 4 miles from Wilson Creek battle field. I usually jog the lil path around the battlefield. My great grandmother Gladys Ray is a distant relative of John Ray
I grow up in Springfield MO. Played in the woods next to Wilson's creek, Walker the creek to.

I don`t really care which battle you do, I`m just happy that I have found another historical channel that isn`t just a shitty text-to-voice Wikipedia copy pasted video.

Just a suggestion, but you should add some sort of background music to make it more interesting and engaging, it seems to be the only thing missing from the video that would make it great.

I just can't get past his pronunciation of "Sigel".
Mo had 10% slave pop. And immigrants weren't a factor initially. Malitias were already training before any "large numbers" of immigrants came..who were mostly Irish btw.

This is absolutely dead wrong in describing Lyon's religious views. He was actually an active freethinker hostile to religious fanaticism.
Pretty damned shameful that a narrator of a war documentary doesn't know the difference between cavalry (mounted combatants) and Calvary (the approximate place of the Crucifixion of Jesus)...If I had a dime for every time...Other than that, quite informative...
