I do love Qing Dynasty Costumes from head to toe, BEAUTIFUL, the BEST costume among the dynasties in China. Even I love the formal Emperor and Empress costumes. Manchu people must have been a very creative in art and rich in it's culture.

I have a brief question when I was watching Ruyi's Royal Love in the Palace. After Express Ruyi became the empress, she forced a noble consort to wear 3 ppairsof earrings. I forgot the title of the noble consort. I think she was called noble consort Jia. This consort was from Korea, so I'm a bit curious, don't women have to follow the customs of their husband's country, especially if they are from a foreign land?? From my understanding of all cultures, when women gets married to a foreign land, they must speak the same language as the country where they will live after getting married. They must also wear the same clothing style as the other ladies so wouldn't the noble consort have gotten three earring piercings prior to getting married? Also, would you briefly explain how people in ancient China pireced their ears, please 🙏?
