Clears them in a England shirt for sure. Foden is lost at International level, but he's far better at club level, I doubt Saka will ever win as much as Foden already has at club level.

@@dvwutWhat Foden has won at club level is not entirely down to his abilities but because of the club he plays for. Using that as a comparison is ridiculous. I could use that same logic to say that Gabriel Jesus or Rasmus Hojlund are far better strikers than Harry Kane because they has won more at club level than Kane.

And you'll know as well as me and everyone else, Southgate would have been absolutely hammered had it ended 1-0 and rightly so. And I'd also like to remind you that most still haven't forgiven him for his negative in-game management of the previous final of this competition which involved England. All that said if he finds a way to win it this time around, I certainly will and every other genuine fan I'm sure will give him his flowers. I'd be really proud of the man. I'm going against the grain here. Saka is a great player, but this hype might backfire. He had 4 mediocre games and couldn't get a proper shot on goal. Against Switzerland, his luck changed, and his usual curler went in because it was poorly defended, had acres of space and that shot went in slower than Harry Kane running. Yes, his penalty was brilliant, but this is far from any consistent world class levels. He became one of the only few performers in an under-performing side in England and will be a key player when England faces the big boys.
