This is propaganda for the Chinese Communist Party. Even the Chinese know that their country is not like foreign propagandists portray it. The Chinese hate it when foreigners speak and think for them. Instead, go watch channels free from all propaganda like those of Serpentza, Laowhy86, FREE CHINA, China Fact Chasers, Lei's Real Talk, etc.

Because you're willing to trust everyone but the Chinese. You want to listen to all the voices and not believe that we have our own voices. I suggest you don't believe what you hear, believe your own eyes!

What really shocked me was that this girl had been in China for 6 years and still didn't know how to find vegetarian food. I've heard too many people say that there is no vegetarian food in China, and it probably doesn't even occur to them that Buddhism has been around in this country for over 1500 years. (Just in case anyone doesn't know, Chinese Buddhism is all vegetarian) Based on royal banquets, religious dietary requirements, Chinese food and Chinese medicine's "one foundation of food and healing," there are 3,000 officially documented Chinese vegetarian dishes alone, and you can even double that number. If you want to eat any kind of vegetarian food, not only the Western "natural" vegetarian food, but also in 99% of Chinese menus, the two big options of "vegetarian" and "soup" are always displayed in the menu. If you don't want to be greasy, you should know which are the low oil Chinese cooking styles, such as"爆炒""清炒""凉拌" “清蒸”. If you want to do it yourself, you'd better learn Chinese because everyone buys food online and you need to understand what's on your phone. Also you need to learn at least one word "蔬菜" when you go to the local market.

I like your style of bringing street perspectives of life in a foreign country. Also credence to your style of questions.

She should have learned a little bit of mandarin to make her life much easier. Mandarin is really hard to learn, though, so I guess I understand.

Please, if you want to have honest information, don't look at foreign (propagandists?). Watch channels made by natives like Simon Yu, Ally From China, Chopsticks and Trains, Asian Boss, China Insider with David Zhang, Lei's Real Talk etc etc.
