For those wondering, the odds of getting all anomalies 1-7 then a clear hallway 8 is equivalent to 1 out of 2^8 or, or 1 in 256; About a 0.3% chance. That is, assuming the the chances of an anomaly and a clear hall way are the same at 50%.

For those who don't see the obvious, the sign says "all anomalies found", so you can just speedrun the game after, regardless if there is an anomaly or not.

This is a bug that used to exist in the game that was patched out. This was either ran before it got patched or he was playing an older version of the game

I would say it's less of a glitch,since those are errors when the code fails to load,and more of a design flaw,not putting the checkpoints in such a manner that prevents this.

Just sayin it was kinda funny. I know what you meant though and I otherwise agree. I was just trying to be lighthearted about it (wasn't trying to attack you or anything). I also agree that adding checkpoints would fix this (perhaps the developer will).

@@WarLooch ,and you clearly don't get what I mean. A glitch is when the code fails to load,not that the code writer made a mistake,that's a coding error. Neither of which are what we see here,which is a design flaw,he does have checkpoints,but their positions are badly placed,resulting in this exploit.

I'm guessing he just waited for the right RNG. One where he gets anomalies every single time (since waiting for an RNG with 0 anomalies would only make the speedrun slower as you'd have to go through the corridors). Or, you know, it's a stupid glitch.

​@@Drudfrom what I can tell the game does not know if the corridor in front of you is going to be a bait or not because it is programmed to load random chunks of it when you pass through invisible areas (the one around the corner) so the one behind you will always be the right one. The reason of this is that the game prioritizes the right chunks over the others. This glitch is not done by clipping through walls, but because the developers did not make the loading chunk system smarter 😅
