The order in which they announced the televoting votes is so confusing and unexciting, I'm glad they changed it to "from lowest in the current ranking to highest" now, the televoting vote announcement was great in 2021!

I hated so much the guy from Netta's team that was saying "Italy, Italy, Italy", when they announced the third position of the public vote, that is very rude because the Italian team was seeing. Very disrespectful.

The fact that Eleni gain so many fans in just 4 days, it is a victory...who else in the history of eurovision went from 20th position to the 1st in the odds in just 2 days?? plus she made the whole world, arena and press room to sing along the lyrics, the top youtubers were talking about her and even had live videos with her, Jean Paul Gaultier also met her in person, New York Times wrote about her...because of Eleni, Cyprus became the top topic of Europe this past week... so yes Netta won the position, but Eleni won the hearts of people, and she is a winner in many other ways!!! Thank you Eleni for the wonderful Journey :)

I live in Cyprus and that night I went over to my friends house with all my friends and when we saw Cyprus going up in the ranks we were getting so hyped but when Israel won everyone started swearing and screaming in rage and when Netta went on stage and started singing my friends dad threw the remote to the TV and broke it.

because jury votes are easier to gather....televoting needs to gather all the votes from every country, short them at 1-12 points and ad them all together, so they use that time for that procedure. Also showing televotes in summary country by country creates more tension, while with the old system sometimes the winner could gathered all the high rank points and be mathematically winner before every country gives out its points

Look at Italy.. 59 points from the juries and 3rd in the televote. Juries are a joke

vasia 77 agree with you. On my opinion, Netta song is cool, it's funny and dynamic. But EQUINOX made really powerful and great song, and their vocal is strong, each of member. It's kind of song, whitch I want to see on contest like that. I didn't even hope for 1 place, but it's must to be in top 5 :(

As for me, Italy should have won. I'm really flown away with the lyrics of their song... Beautiful voices, strong message, what do you need more?

This is a SONG contest as you said. A song won. The meaning of the song is about anti bullying. So stop being that mean, she did a nice thing and at least it has some deep meaning unlike the meaning of the cyprus song.

When she said "So now, Cyprus is leading the votes" I thought she accidentily revealed that Cyprus got the most televotes :P

Honestly cyprus entry won hearts. for being the entry which received tele-votes from all countries even if it didn't win the competition.

Italy was a dark horse wasn't it? I didn't expect it to come third in the televote at all! And I'm really proud of the Czech Republic for getting fourth highest televote score this year and coming sixth. It's their best result ever :)

What about singing a song without a stroy and messages? Jamala didin't deserve to win, Italy didn't deserve to win, when Hungary was in 2015, it didn't win, you don't mention it, it actually did very poor, there are many songs with messages, but why only Italy has to win?

ENDCER Albania was close to the bottom in the odds, but ended up in 11th place. That's a huge jump! I am still dissapointed they missed the top 10 because of Moldova. Thanks televoters...

I’m here in 2023 and still very annoyed at the juries for consistently overhyping Sweden every single year. I love Sweden but it’s infuriating to watch them always score so well with the juries when they don’t deserve to especially when comparing to other countries when they clearly have better entries.

Louise Christiansen But without the juries Albania would have finished way lower than 11th. Both juries and televoters made dumb decisions. Juries highly overrated Sweden, underrated Denmark and televoters highly overrated Cyprus, Moldova and Israel, and underrated Albania.

Nope, why did Sweden deserved only 21 points? In Melodifestivalen (Sweden national eurovision) did Benjamin Ingrosso get most of the telephone voting and that mean "Dance you off" is not a bad song.

It is 80% - 20% or something like that. Don't be salty. That's how it is. And it really doesn't matter which country she is from, she sings amazing, and that is all that matters.

Things I didn’t like: As always, BIG 5 is underrated (France 13th??? Spain 23rd???). Why is Finland 25th????? Also, Montenegro gives 12p to Sebia, SOOO UNFAIR. I’m starting to doubt about the how professional is the jury, why was Austria first and Sweden second??? Why you put Ukraine last and Denmark just above them???? WTF I have a lot of more things but I don’t want to write the Bible.

exactly, I supported Cyprus as a Greek, but I always trust people in this contest... Israel is the well deserved winner as it was 1st in televoting... Denmark and Italy underestimated.. why do we keep the juries? why? no reason.. 1. Israel 2. Cyprus 3. Italy 4. Denmark 5. Germany... a very well and fair result to me.. Sweden 2nd by the juries? that should have been the same by televoters not the case of professional musicians. I also don't like every year the 0 points the top 2 countries exchange... this is unethical to me...
