Sorry, dont think its a good idea. You were prepared to get rid of Charlie, late in his life, because of his anxiety which would have disrupted your travel plans. You presumably wouldn't offload a child and to me a dog should have the same consideration.

Hi both as an ex kitchen fitter we would always use a half round file to cut back the laminate cut it slightly longer than required then use the file if you have a block plane you can plane it down to within 1mm then finish with the file good luck!!! Dogs bring so much to a family you absolutely made the right decision, I have four dogs and yes they can restrict you at times but the positives win hands down, Rosie is just the right dog for your family, enjoy😊😊

I think the right decision is the one that makes you happy. You have had six months to know what life without a dog is like and you have decided that a little dog like Rosie is what your family needed to make it complete. So, good luck, be happy and e joy Rosie .

Be prepared for separation issues unless you start very early training with her. They can be very clingy and obsessive, which is cute as a puppy but will have her howling continuously when separated from you if you’re not careful. Good luck 👍🏻

If you looking for a good vet, we live in Needham Market and have just moved to Cwm vets they are at Blakenham, far far cheaper and treatment is better than any vets we been to before and we have had dogs for the 20 years.

Is it possible for you to go to Germany and pick up the parts yourself or arrange someone to get them for you. It’s just ridiculous isn’t it that they can’t send them for you. 😩😩😩

We are also full-time in our van with three kids and got a blue staffie 6 months ago. Honestly, it's so beautiful to watch her with the kids 😊 congratulations & welcome to your forever family, Rosie 🎉

As others have said there must be one of these trucks sitting in a breakers yard that you could obtain the windows from 👍

Try some second hand salvage places for the windows or as people have said take a trip to Germany or ring them direct and pay postage to get them delivered.

We have a crazy 12 year old cocker spaniel travelling with us in our motorhome he loves it ever since he was a puppy, Rosie is gorgeous.

Just a note for when you're at "base camp" in Garnham's - there's 3 vets a lot closer to where you're parked up than the vet centre in Ipswich. One of them is literally 1 mile down the road!

Maybe next stop Germany to collect the windows, it would be a great trip.
