Paul Ryan, Jeb Bush, Soros etc. Trump is very clear on this and he is the Only one who talks about this, rails against globalism, and that's why they want to get rid of him. It's sickening what is happening here in the US. Americans need to hear the stories my husband's family can tell of the absolutely brutal years under communist rule. No one would make that choice for their country if they truly understood the consequences.

BS there isn't a formula. A simple no is effective when this Marxist trash hasn't been allowed to creep slowly into every institution. Once it's in a very strategic no it's required. There are 3 very important elements of the strategy. 1) expose it as quickly as possible forcing them to hasten their agenda further exposing them. 2) Non violent non compliance 3) Sabotage and undermine every attempt to implement this stuff. If you can, do it covertly. This allows you to stick around and do more damage.

Aside from the fact that Budapest is far more beautiful than any city that spent 45 years behind the Iron Curtain has any right to expect, he's absolutely correct about how stable and normal everything is while still being open, friendly and laid back. Well the really big problem with them - never mind their political views etc... - is the fact they lack real crisis prevention and/or handling policies. Slap together something and call it working because you 'said so' not because it is actually working is the feeling you get when you live here. And as long as it is not working just delay with sentences like 'its a slow process' + 'it isn't supposed to be easy'. Anyone points it out? Liars. Hell i know i dont work for but i'd fall into that category too by their logic. They are just people - worse: politicians. Do not hold them in higher regard than lets say yourself or your loved ones or anyone you actually witnessed helping another human being.

If people from 50 years ago could come back and see the world today they wouldn’t believe it, it would seem like a bad dream. However, it is the reality of Americans that people with severe mental health have the loudest voices and most power right now and that has to change. As an outsider who has visited Hungary a few times, the one thing that was unmentioned is that Hungary is, in essence, an "outsider" culture. Hungary is not like its neighbors. They speak a language that is completely different from their neighbors or anyone else in Europe. (Finnish is not all that close to Hungarian.) Even their names are different: they use the Asian naming convention where the family name comes first. No one else in Europe does that. They've been on the losing end of the major world wars, which means they've been punished severely when they've gone along with their European neighbors. They still remember being occupied by Moslem conquerors (in their case, the Ottoman Turks), an experience no one to the north or west in Europe share (except Spain, but they've forgotten). It's no shock, given their history, that Hungarians do not aspire to be mindless euro-drones. It's one of the main things I love about Hungary It's also a great place to visit for reasons that have zero to do with politics.

YES, YES, and YES ! ... I grew up in Canada, born to Hungarian parents who fled after the 56' Revolution. Hungarian was my first language spoken, until I went to school. Growing up in the 80s and 90s was weird with you anglo-saxons and your feminism and later in the 2000s, political correctness, gender ideology, and woke progressive this, woke progressive that. My parents warned me, and later my Hungarian relatives abroad ( when I would visit them in Pest ), were always imploring me to move back, or get married to a Hungarian woman...they made me constantly aware of the authoritarian ideology unfolding in the west, and how feminism, and wokism, was destroying morality, creating divisions and subverting peoples identity. When I asked why they said such things, my grandmother would always say, " because we lived through it here with Communism, and now its happening over there. " Nuff said.

I first went to Hungary in 1989. studied there in 1994 and 1999. Been back repeatedly since for work. I felt in the early 90s, and I have been proven correct since, that Hungary has a real role to play in our future. I gleaned from the people I met - even younger students - that there is a national imperative to protect. In the middle ages they were a bulwark against the ottomans. They fought the soviets directly in their Revolution. And now they are a bulwark against the insane “wokeism” that is spreading like a cancer from Brussels, Zurich/Davos, and Washington DC. I don’t agree with the statement on DeSantis. As Governor he’s great but his presidential backers are fully subservient to the ESG/Woke agenda.

Hungarian here, I like and vote for Orbán but the level of praise you heaped on him was a bit too much even for me. Wouldn't canonise the man just yet 😊 On a serious note, the problem is that we are a small country with relentless pressure heaped upon us to conform to the progressive canon (the EU obviously, witholding funds we are entitled to for political reasons, your very own ambassador, not to mention the soft power in the form of Soros-sponsored NGOs, Netflix, corporate diversity training sessions etc.) All we need is to lose 1-2 elections and the floodgates for migration, gender nonsense etc.will be thrown open. So ultimately, I feel it's very much up to you guys in the US to turn the tide of wokeness around before it consumes everybody. Thank you for showcasing my country, hope you have a great time!

The thing I feel that for so many leaders of Western countries is the shame they feel for their country and culture. I also feel there's a massive dishonesty amongst our leaders. The distrust and dissatisfaction that people feel towards the traditional parties was most obvious in the recent local elections in England, when the turnout was only about 23 per cent. I feel that no mainstream party speaks for ordinary people. On every major issue, and particularly immigration there's no discernable difference, and that's why Western leaders and media hate Orban. Forgot to mention that Orban's school friend, a plumber, became the richest person in Hungary. Or that Orban has taken over all public media from TV stations, and radio stations to the smallest local newspapers where the most primitive and easily digestible state propaganda aimed at instilling fear has been broadcast since shortly after he came into power. He's practically taking over all institutions from media, universities, courts and the economy with institutionalized, legalized corruption, blackmail, and making a mockery of tenders where only enterprises connected to fidesz - such as that of his father or plumber friend - can win. He is an enemy of free market, liberty, intellectuals, teachers. He is pathologically afraid of losing and has been working to never lose power, even when losing an election. That's why he grabbed through his lackeys the mass media, the economy, the institutions, and even changed the constitution and electoral laws. You may have a rosy picture of him abroad, but we have 1/3 of voters who thanks to the electoral laws and brain washing from mass media give him 2/3 in parliament and enjoy the highest COVID death rate, inflation, lack of teachers, and the second lowest life quality in Europe. It is the country in the EU where the young want to emigrate from the most.

Also important to mention than pre-Covid and post-Covid Hungary continues to grow strongly economically, always growing against all predictions of the usual 'experts' who plant the lies that countries "NEED" continuous mass immigration to thrive economically 😂 And thanks to Orban's government incentives, birth rates in Hungary have gone up in the past years, going against all theories that "there is no way to increase fertility rates in the West unless we have lots of immigration, it's a lost cause!" - Well, Orban's policies made it feel exciting and appealing again for young people to raise a family, and also made them aware it's a collective responsibility as a society if we want our country to continue to thrive without resorting to importing workers all the time! In Hungary, families are celebrated, not exchanged for glorified promiscuity or materialism as replacements for them. There are politicians who show their citizens: "Look, there is option A which is to grow your own family and enjoy it, we give you financial benefits for every extra child... Or option B which is to have less people to get our country thriving and resort to importing workers endlessly... Which do you prefer? THINK about it. We recommend option A!" Refreshing, isn't it?

Everything is getting expensive. Food, bills. "European market prices" , sometimes even more expensive. Then some product with same name lesser quality inport. The quality grain is exported, shity grain imported. Then we ran out of 'i dont remember what' which was in practice sold out and waited for export. Built arenas, why. Playgrounds and other places built with unio money and we look and ask: wtf does it cost this much in that shit? Antiimmigrant but some rich were negotiable. New accumulator factory poisons rich fertile fields. Employing temporary worker from out of country, said they will get cancer from poisoning. Recently fucked over a lot of people who were doing this KATA monthly fix tax stuff or whatever now became not optimal. In 2012 made the unlawful "base law" to replace the unlawful constitution. Only the nation, the people can accept a constitution, by voting. According to pre-socialist law. In short. Now slowly making foundations for feudalism, few step away from becoming serfs. Pope declared his claim on country if it would become a kingdom. Hungarian kingdom was never under the jurisdiction of the pope. And many more. Sure, doesnt allow wokeshit in paper. Kaleta from his party was caught having few thousand child porn. He was fined 500000 ft and free to go. Cuz it was for own usage or something. They made the childprotection law about pedos, and people complaining gays are treated as if they are pedos.

I can't help thinking about places to flee as the US crumbles. Once the US military might falls I see SE asian countries overrun by China, central & south American countries like El Salvadore overrun with communists and cartels, and western Europe, Australia, and New Zealand are already lost. I never really considered the former soviet block countries, but they seem like they'd be too cold. Oof! I just checked and the average monthly high in Budapest is 51° and *below* 5 months of the year! Nearly half the year is basically locking you at home!

After working overseas for the last 10 years of my career, one of the things that I realized was that many Americans had no idea what it was like in other countries. Some had no idea what it is like in a different state! Just going by what you read in America tells you nothing about the other side of the water. Of course, I learned this a lot earlier by being stationed in Turkey for 14 months while in the US Army (1965-66).

That is true about most peoples in the world. In fact, in ancient Rome there was a word for it: provincial. In other words, most people have no clue what life is outside their own little province. I would argue most people don't even know what's going on in their own home area.

We had never seen so much abundance in a communist country, of all places. And we were the 0.01% living 10 minutes from the Red Square. I wish we just stayed in Hungary right there and then.
