(Wikipaedia) Athena and Phevos (Greek: Αθηνά, Φοίβος; pronounced [aθiˈna] and [ˈfivos]) were the official mascots of the 2004 Summer Olympics and Proteas (Greek: Πρωτέας) was the official mascot of the 2004 Summer Paralympics, both held in Athens, Greece. Athena and Phevos are one of the few examples of anthropomorphic mascots in the history of the Olympics. According to the official mascot webpage, "their creation was inspired by an ancient Greek doll and their names are linked to ancient Greece, yet the two siblings are children of modern times - Athena and Phevos represent the link between Greek history and the modern Olympic Games." [1] The Athens 2004 Olympic Organizing Committee claimed that the mascots represented "participation, brotherhood, equality, cooperation, fair play [and] the everlasting Greek value of human scale." Yeah The Cobi Troupe was a great show. It featured Cobi as well as the Paralympic mascot for the Barcelona games Petra, who was an armless human girl

To be honest, Wenlock actually appeared more cuddlier and cuter after the Bolt win in 2012. Pity Vinicius pushed him off the podium after the Bolt win in 2016. ^^ Also, cheers to Cobi for doing just that, starting new rules. (Don't ask Twipsy! X'D)

But The Barcelona 1992 Olympics Mascot Name Cobi is The Stylish It's a Cubist Style!

Mascots should be more present and participant in the Olympics. As a child in 1992, I loved Cobi 😻😻😻; I loved the cartoons, and I cried when he departed in his giant paper ship, but I haven't see him anywhere else. 😿😿😿 Atlanta's and London's mascots were horrible. ☠️

Misha, Eagle Sam, & the Fuwas were adapted as animated TV shows in 1979, 1983, & 2007 respectively by Japan and China. Izzy as a TV special in 1995.

Dudy Dudi emm..but the problem, dear buddy, is: After the Games, the IOC take the mascot as theirs and Nintendo won't have any more the Pikachu's rights creating their own Olympic mascot (the same thing that Rio 2016 and London 2012 did) is better and easier than taking a copyright character
