There was garden of words before 2015 but video didn't show it.
1966. That seems to be the year where the Japanese anime style first started for real. The big eyes gave it away. 😉 Fantastic video! So many memories. 🥹 Thank you! 👍❤️

Kara no Kyoukai back in 2007 also. Pretty much Ufotable’s turning point in animation quality.

@@phillipn6475 yes it is true that kara no kyoukai had raged the animation bar but on that time no other movie could ever beat 5 cm per second's animation. It can still can be compared with your name and suzume.

@@amvmoon777 Just felt that KnK should of gotten some recognition as well seeing how there are some years in the video where there are 2 movies in a single year showcased. If not for 2007, then 2008-2011 is one of the good years to place one of the other KnK movies…especially KnK 5 in 2008.
I remember watching Castle of Cagliostro, 009, and Mobile Suit Gundam. I’m an old weeb tho. Been watching anime for a long time.
