It’s kind of sad that as I am binge watching your whole playlist of videos about FAM and its beauty, I keep getting ads about the other typical birth control methods before each video, which are what we are trying to avoid when coming to your channel. That’s KZread’s doing and that’s the money driven world we live in, but even that encourages me more to keep learning about natural methods that are good for my body and mind. Thank you.

Awesome video! :) ❤ Kindara is unparalleled by any other apps in my opinion. it allows you to be in full control. LOL the part where you called it a beautiful masterpiece! :) ❤ So glad you're enjoying Kindara, keep it up!

I made the mistake recently of going to a new OBGYN recommended to me by a friend without looking up her reviews. I was on the pill for six years but went off about 7 months ago when I started researching FAM-- a method I am not yet using to prevent pregnancy but I am starting to chart. When I mentioned this to my doctor she got so annoyed, told me there is no reason I should be off the pill, told me ovulation is bad for me, and called FAM the rhythm method. She kept saying "Because it doesn't work," and when I asked her why she wouldn't tell me. Truly horrible. She drove me to tears for other reasons when she wouldn't answer my health questions to the point I had to end the appointment. So frustrating. Just wanted to share that horrible experience so women in my situation who watch these vids will do more research when looking for a new doctor-- making sure they at least know what FAM is. PS-- how can ovulation be bad for you?!

Nothing bad about ovulation. clearly they want to support the pill industry. I wouldn't be surprised if some pharmaceutical multinational has given them more money into their salary to just convince women to take their pills. The whole Health system wants us sick cause it makes more money. Plus, pills are dangerous and bring lots of other problems and that's another reason why they prescribe it so we have to go back to the doctor. Just get out of that system and use alternative methods and trust your intuition.

The exact same thing happened to me! I recently saw my doctor to discuss me going off the pill and using a combination of FAM and condoms instead. She literally laughed at me and said "you can do it if you want but don't be surprised when you're pregnant in a few months". WHAT.

That's insane what she told you 😮😮 Unfortunatly it's not uncommon to run into such doctors. A year ago I went to the worst obgyn of my life! She told me I had 3 cm cyst, that I wasn't ovulating and told me I had to go on the pill (Yaz) and btw she didn't even show me the pics of my uterus, ovaries or the cyst itself. I went out of her office crying. Luckily I knew a different obgyn that I had visited several times before. And it came out.... there was no freaking cyst! (i was shown the monitor and the pics were handed down to me) And there was no reason for me to go on bc. Some docs are reallyy bad.

I love Kindara too. I just bought Daysy recently and have been using it for about a month now. I really like it because it syncs right when you connect it to your phone/app, easy red/green/yellow light system, and because it doesn't beep loudly but rather buzzes and I can temp and fall right back to sleep. I am in the middle of still using Natural Cycles (app and thermometer - but I am starting to think battery is going on NC thermometer.. ever since I cancelled my subscription, it autorenews, and I have about 5 months left but I cancelled it within the last month, I've noticed I've had problems with the NC thermometer... hmm) but don't much care for that app. Since October 2016 I've used my NC BBT thermometer along with the Kindara, Fertility Friend and NC apps. My favorite being Kindara because it is so customizable. I track so many things and it is cool to see how it relates to my cycle. I use Kindara for Android primarily because I have the Samsung Galaxy s7.. but I recently bought a iPod touch for my music and I downloaded Kindara on it .... I have to say I LOVE the Apple version of Kindara way more than Android one. Much more user friendly and I can actually get a picture of my whole chart saved to my phone to share with friends or my doctor, whereas on Android it was not as easy especially when cycles are longer... multiple screenshots and it just looked a mess. I am glad I have it on my iPod now too. I'm going to do another month or so using both NC thermometer and Daysy thermometer but then will switch to just Daysy. I ultimately want to use Daysy and Kindara. Right now use NC thermometer with Kindara and Daysy with Daysy app... but since I love Kindara so much I want to make the switch over to Kindara with Daysy. I'll still sync with Daysy app but then put temp into Kindara too and that will be my goldilocks too!! For the time being, this cycle, since I am charting in Kindara but using NC thermometer, I also want to use Fertility Friend app and input my Daysy temps in there and round up temps to see if I can see a cleared shift.

I use ovuview, its like kindara, but it draws the line for you (has a bunch of methods). It has way more detail (mucus and menses for example) and it also has a pregnancy mode.

I love your channel and have recommended it to several people! Speaking of all of the different methods, can you cover the Marquette method or using OPKs. Currently I use Marquette with the Clearblue monitor along with the Glow app. I know you did a video using OPKs for one cycle but it didn't really cover the actual method.

One huge question I have here. If somebody could answer it would be great ! What is the difference between combining a normal basal thermometer with a charting app like Kindara; and combining the daisy with kindara? Why is the daisy is so expensive? Is it worth it? Isn't it just doing the same as you would taking your temperature every morning?

Estefania Sanchez temperature is temperature, you need to track your cervical fluid to make it FAM, using only one is only recommended for people who absolutely can't track both for some reason. Theromoters are thermometers, some work and some don't, some call themselves BBT but that's not an actual term for a thermometer

Can you talk some more about the depo shot? I got my last shot at the beginning of September 2016 and was due for the next one in December. I'm not on any birth control now although we use condoms always. Wanting to chart my cycles and what not jut have yet to get my period back. I know this is normal for many people. Just wondering if you can give me any insight on what's going on and if taking temps now is even useful? Thanks!

Jennifer Clapp - You can definitely start temping now! Go get a BBT thermometer and start up with Kindara :) you may even end up catching your first ovulation via temps and CF before you get your actual period. Go for it :)

I am curious, is there a reason you don't use Daisy by itself? Is it because you don't trust it to prevent pregnancy on its own or because you want to learn more about your cycle through charting with Kindara? Thanks :)

I can't take my temps because I'm lazy and a mouth breather. been using fam and just tracking my cervical fluid... not pregnant yet;) my teacher says it's risky but I just can't dedicate that much time to my BC. a baby would be fine but we abstain from sex all together during my wave.. so technically I am following the NFP.
