The Evolution of Emir Demirhan (Senden Daha Güzel) (More Beautiful Than You) Burak Çelik
It's been an absolute pleasure watching the character building of Emir Demirhan played by Burak Çelik.
This fan edit charts Emir's journey. It captures his growth from episodes 1-11 as we eagerly await the airing of the twelfth episode. In episode 1, we meet an Emir who is a mean, workaholic. He describes himself as an unfeeling man and is quick to confess that his work is his only love. We soon get to realize that there are levels to his character.
The fact that he was adopted and felt like he had to work for his father's love, contributes to his inability to trust people. Trust is a big thing for Emir. It is hard to win his trust but Efsun has managed to do this. Yes, they went back and forth. There were many instances where they hurt each other. However, they were able to overcome this for the most part. Efsun was able to see behind Emir's beautiful, successful wall. She has seen his tender side and has won his heart. He was ready to confess his love but much to the dismay of all Senden Daha Güzel fans, Efsun has prevented him.
I will not say more about this, as this edit focuses on Emir and his growth. It was a lot of work, it is a long video and there was more I could add but didn't. Yet, I had so much fun finding the parallels between his unfeeling, robotic side to his more mature, human and loving interactions. For instance, the scene in the operating room where he calls Efsun a noob parallels to the one where he is supportive and asks if she is scared.

This was the best part of the whole series. The different aspects of Emir to the end. His father was on an ego trip and was nasty to him. Emir turned out very fine and Efsun is a great actress too. I hope they are in new series one day. I fell in love with both of them. I still don't understand why Sveda was included. No one liked her. Nasty woman.

You are absolutely right. The poor relationship with his father caused Emir to put up a wall to protect his heart. It's beautiful how he was able to let Efsun in and begin to trust again. I hope we get to see them in another project. Don't get me started on Sevda.🙄😂

Beautiful role... Great actor... Burak Çelik is very talented man....with all mumbojumbo in script and very sudden end, very bad last episode although it's happyend he did great job. Cemre and him are such good couple and I also hope that they will act in some new project .... I wish them all the best
