On this week's episode, I sat down with Dr. Kevin Kwiecien and Jason Luchtefeld. Dr. Kwiecien graduated from Oregon Health and Science University School of Dentistry in 1995 and holds a master’s degree in healthcare administration. He has more than 25 years of private practice experience with most of those years overlapping in academia. Dr. Kwiecien serves as faculty member at the L.D. Pankey Institute and dedicates the majority of his time as the owner of K Squared Facilitation and Dental Education, facilitating long-term health for the practice, team, and patient.
And Jason Luchtefeld is a former dentist (2000 - 2022) that has transitioned into facilitating strategic planning, coaching, and problem-solving for dentists, dental organizations, and other businesses. He is the current President of the American Equilibration Society. He is married and enjoys trail running, mountain biking, and learning.
Give a listen to Dr. Kevin Kwiecien and Jason Luchtefeld Summary, two experienced dentists who now focus on coaching and training dentists in the business and clinical aspects of dentistry. They discuss the changes in the dental landscape over the past 20 years, the importance of clinical expertise in dentistry, and the need for emotional intelligence and self-awareness in dental teams. They also talk about their work in helping dentists integrate complex restorative dentistry and improve patient outcomes.
