That would be thanks to shinee. Before them it was not really taken serious they set the standard. The history of kpop and boy band in general is incredibly interesting imo.

Definitely all credits go to shinee for that, they really were the stepping stone but 4th gen seems to be all about performance

I saw this video because of autoplay a year ago. The entire video was really good and you all put so much work into it. This video is what introduced me to BTS. I'd never even listened to Kpop before, not because I didn't think I could like it, I just never did. As soon as Dope started playing I was like "What is THAT?!" This started my whole BTS journey. The charm with the older dances is that you actually still might remember them, they might look simple but they are so iconic at the same time. Newer dances yeah are cool and more complicated, but often I don't remember them like the good old old gen ones.

All of you are fantastic dancers, the outfits are pretty DOPE as well..I've enjoyed this video and the Evolution of Dance 1 & 2 videos also.

The effort to make this video by learning the choreo and changing outfits to match the song is incredible. Salute to you guys!

this makes my K-pop loving soul very happy also, heck of a good job on Mirotic I've seen other groups try and cover that dance and it doesn't always turn out the best, so good job (maybe I just have a high bar when it comes to the classics)

They have skill but lacked the style and swag of kpop dancers. These performances were definitely not better than the original. Not to insult these dancers who are obviously very good.

I know very little about K-Pop, but it has been a long time since I have so thoroughly enjoyed a video. Smiled the whole way through. Loved it. You guys are incredibly talented and entertaining!

Kpop are famous for it’s incredible choreographies. If you like beautiful and complex choreographies I would recommend Loona’s Butterfly (a girl group), seventeens don’t wanna cry and ncts black on black. All these groups have quite many members but they make it work so well

The choreographies are amazing and so are the main dancers (who execute the choreographies the best) if you're interested, check out some dance videos of top tier kpop main dancers like ten(nct) , taemin(shinee) , lay and kai(exo), jhope and jimin(bts) , hoshi(seventeen), rocky(astro), hoya(infinite), and taeyang(SF9)

Coming from a kpop stan, all these choreographies and their groups are extremely iconic. Like so many rookie groups have made covers of them and idolize these groups.

I've been years into Kpop, and to hear "old" and iconic and legendary songs again gave me so many shivers. It gave me so many flashbacks 😭💙 this was the best time of my life and my heart is full of nostalgia right now
