And the thing that you mentioned about faith is that if you watch their interviews you will come to see that they rap/sing from their heart, songs like ‘set in stone’ ‘Patek pain’ & ‘proud’ they talk about being a Muslim & Adz talking about his daughter is something personal & that hits the listener. I still remember listening to set in stone & tears just fall down my eyes it was a crazy experience And yeah couldn’t forget about ‘Kevin’

This is also the same for video streaming sites like KZread. Fantastic video btw. I’ve never been a fan of DBE personally, but this vid gave me a whole new respect for them.

Album: Promo run, money put into promoting, advertising, and getting the brand out there. (Usually pushed by a label, but not for DBE who are independent). Mixtape: Little to no promo, just released music. Back in the day would be tracks that didn't need to be cleared. Obviously changed now, but far less push made. Just kind of shows you how successful DBE are, that Album or Mixtape, they'll always produce numbers.
