For all who think Bruno is an incredible talent now (in the early 2020’s), I remember his “younger” (meaning: high school) days (circa 2001 to 2003 timeframe) as we (Bruno & I) graduated from the same high school (his freshmen year (School Year: 1999-2000) was my Junior Year). I never was close friends with him, but some of my classmates were, & back then he was still going by his given name, & everyone called him “Peter” back then (not Bruno…yet) 😁 I think if I were to go to one of his concerts (or a meet & greet) that I’ll mention his early high school days (& see what he says) 😂🤣 I even remember when he & his boys would sing acapella in the “A Building” (that was our Administration building) stairwells during lunch recess… I’d often stop to listen… 😁 And if I’m remembering correctly, he was once interviewed by our school newspaper (I think it was) & it was asked how his stage name of “Bruno Mars” came about… & he stated that “Bruno” came about because his Dad’s favorite WWF (now WWE) wrestler (at the time) was Bruno Sammartino & thus his Dad nicknamed him “Bruno” & as for the “Mars” part, he said that the girls would always tell him that he was “Out of this world” & so he said, “I guess I’m from Mars” (hence the “Bruno Mars” stage name stuck) & I can attest that he was just as awesome back in high school, although he’s a million times more awesome now…, but that just comes with the last 20+ years of experience added on… (after high school)

Cool story, I went to his concert back in 2016/2017 and that was when I just became a fan (even though I liked some of his songs prior) because originally I came to the concert as a plus one. It was a really good concert and the live performances was better than the studio album imo. You should definitely go to his meet and greet and mention it to him.

He was no Michael Jackson or Stevie Wonder when he was a child performe. He didn't have that perfect pitch or voice control that they had. But he sure came into his own in the last decade, and now he has that perfect pitch and voice control. Shows what constant practice will do.

The crazy thing is if he released some of his songs as singles they would've been so succesful but he chose not to. Like for example perm, calling all my lovelies, chunky, too good to say goodbye, 777, fly as me. Honeslty all of these would've destroyed the charts if he made up a few music videos for em. Oh gosh, gush, gush...he's talented in voice and dance, He may be a sterling human being in manner and mien, but I've seen and heard others like you carry on about Elvis, Sinatra, JFK, MLK, John Lennon, James Dean, Johnny Cash, Ronald Reagan, either Clinton, Obama, et al, but I reserve my praises for Jonas Salk, and other Nobel Prize winners. You'd do better to not "worship" any celebrity. Remember, no body's perfect and entertainers seldom merit admiration. I never even heard of him until a week ago when I stumbled across UPTOWN FUNK. Entertaining video and he made it shine, but he's not deserving of a Nobel Peace Prize.

I just checked more into Bruno Mars because I realized I knew so many of his songs without having paid conscious attention! He's the only mainstream pop artist I genuinely like. Because he's got it all and brings it all together, he's for everyone, a true example of a universal star.

Saw him 4 days after his first album came out. Nobody really knew who he was yet. He was an opener for Maroon 5 in Los Angeles. People were talking during his set. I thought he was pretty damn good, and soon others would see too! Props to Bruno

He did reach his dream of becoming like Elvis. He got Elvis’ swag but the singing and dancing talent of Michael Jackson. Would like to see him again in concert.

Bruno Mars is an incredible musician, probably the best of this generation. Just when you think it can't get any better he manages to blow your mind with another smash hit. "Leave the Door Open" is one of my favourite songs.

when "Billionaire" had release and that name Bruno Mars on the spotlight, made me no. 1 fan of him. He doesn't make bad music. Eargasm. I love his every Super Bowl Halftime performances, I would be glad he will get the title, King of SuperBowl Halftime 😁 Bruno Mars is ❤ cool, swag and fresh at the same time.

Even performing as a kid and all his Bruno didn't really have a big break until his late 20s, but it all paid off being one of the best sellers and an all rounded talented artist vocalist and performer, and now him with Anderson are BOTH icons in the making

Bruno Mars is an amazing superstar with a beautiful personality.

It doesn’t surprise me one bit that BRUNO MARS is this damn good,I mean this dude has been killing it since toddler age and has matured steadily ever since...truly definition of Hard Work meeting Talent. To think I had slept on him all these years is amazing(Being an R&B/Soul dude myself) I’ve only just really paid attention to his music now very recently through his SILK SONIC collaboration with Anderson Park which I am loving...they have revived R&B with that masterpiece of an album. I mean I haven’t played an R&B Album on repeat than I have with Silk Sonic I’m well over a decade coz R&B was dead...but these 2 have revived my love for the genre. Big ups to BRUNO and much respect for his talent,and may he continue to to succeed. For now imma KEEP MY DOOR OPEN for more of his music/hits. 😉✌🏿🇿🇦
