Oh my god the joke ending really got me...

Weird, there's a sentence in the actual picture of the Torn Letter missing from the description. Right after "He entered here lusting for some power long ago." It says: "I imagine he is reluctant (illegible) after what he has seen". Well actually now that I tried to read the letter in the picture, some lines are also different.

@@Sahrul-qr2nm the man who created resident evil made this. Pretty much why. Like wise re4 takes place in Spain and many of the characters in the evil within including Sebastian are European-spainards. That's why the first one had middle ages architecture.

You the shadow dude is a being created by kidman's doubts, but manipulated by Ruvik to go and try to kill her. She wishes to get herself away from mobious, but finds out it would only ruin if not end her life if she does.

Omg. I found the wife. I understand Ruvik's plan and everything and that Seb never woke up. But how does that explain who killed Seb's daughter and kidnapped Seb's wife? I also don't understand Ruvik's backstory,all I know is he got burned in a fire and his sister died in that fire. Also,is the Myra that appeared at the end the same Myra Seb is married to? So many unanswered questions and their not even gonna make a Evil Within 2. Real tragic.

While i can't give a 100% of certainty, since the are many doubts lingered by the plot, Sebastian DID wake up to Reality (as Kidman also did), but Ruvik left his "mark" on him and Kidman, so they are still suscetible to his influence. But I understand why it is confusing. About the sequel, recently there was a japanese ad recruting personnel for a sequel to The Evil Within! So it must be only a matter of time.

Ruben Victoriano was an antisocial, misunderstood youth who Dr. Jimenez took under his wing. His father was a stern, abusive man and the closest person in his life was his sister, Laura. Her death, his severe burns, and being locked in the basement out of embarrassment at his appearance and mental break by his father caused him to snap and murder his parents. Together, he and the doctor created STEM with the goal of linking people's consciousnesses for advanced therapy treatment purposes. Mobius financed the project and it became clear that Dr. Jimenez was of no use without Ruben's brilliant mind. But the doctor took credit for his work because he was not an established scientist of repute himself, fragmenting their partnership. Once it became clear that Ruben planned to use STEM for the personal goal of domination, Mobius ripped his body apart and used him against his will to power STEM since they could not bypass the need for his genetic code to make it work. They dubbed him Ruvik as a cruel joke, stripping away his humanity. When his consciousness interfered with their experiments on the patients at Beacon, turning them into the Haunted, Dr. Jimenez tried to remove Ruvik from STEM by taking out his brain. This didn't work, as Ruvik's conscious mind had become so strong from absorbing the minds of others within STEM that he remained inside without the physical brain. Every monster encountered by Juli, Sebastian, and Joseph in STEM is a manifestation of Ruvik's hatred fusing and influencing the broken minds of others that have entered. As of TEW2 reveal at E3, Sebastian and Myra's daughter is still alive. Mobius faked her death and used her to create a new STEM System. Which means the cunt, who already abandoned her husband and made him believe both she and their daughter were dead, only ever saw Lily as an experiment. Her own child... Her ass is in a position of authority, she is NOT a hostage.

Butters i think because of people's low understanding of game's story, the game has took bad reviews. but in fact its only lackness is horrible level. first game is more scarier, but second's school scenes are pretty creepy. also second game has better storytelling and graphics. most people would change their mind when dlc comes out i guess.
