This system was invented by McDonald's. People think it is a food company, it is actually a real estate company. The Corp purchases property, they lease or franchise it out. The food just pays the bills while they buy and sell depending on the market. This is why you find McDonald's in places where you don't find other restaurants. The Corp itself runs very few of its own.Their land holdings are now rival that of the Vatican. It is considered the most successful and innovative real estate company in history. That is why so many companies are now using this model for diversification. And then these apartments mostly remain empty as other millionaires use it to launder money.

This is just insane like the yacht comparison of super rich people, but on company level.
I wouldn't trust a building that was build by workers that earned 4$ a day for building it
crazy how people still look up to these countries and dream to live within them

I grew up in Dubai, when I moved to the uk I befriended a group of socialist and communist - I think they were genuinely on the verge of an aneurysm when I told them about stuff from my childhood.

Why did you befriended them? Only thing socialists want to see is a world where everyone is poor, unhappy and dead@StaryRobins

I took off the dealer plate for my bmw before I even left the lot. I couldn’t imagine living in a bullding covered in bmw logos.
fern released a new video, it's a good day.
who the fuck can afford a 2.3 million dollar apartment, and if you can, at that point, you should just buy the 20 million one for all the features, or better yet, BUILD YOUR OWN TOWER OR BUY A HOME, OR HELL, EVEN BUILD ONE

People buy and sell real estate. real estate is one of the most consistent and profitable investments someone can make. it's mostly just that.

@@AL-lh2ht This is true, i live here and know a lot of people who do real estate, literally as soon as these apartments are available to buy, they get sold out immediately
dystopia.
Why does the start of the video feel like the intro to a hitman mission ?
I live in Abu dhabi and often go to dubai for leisure and what i can say is that the migrant abuse in the Uae is normalized here. Most of the workers come from South asian countries, which are prodomantly poor, so they come here to live a better life and support their families back home. They can't really do anything to fight because that would mean them risking getting fired or even getting deported because there are thousands of other men who live in the same situation that could replace them.
If only that one billion dollars was put into charity.
Was ein massiver Plug 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Das war der erste Gedanke
I literally waited 2weeks for fern’s new video no jokes
Aaaaand - it's also a phallus. How creative.
I predict that APORED the realest will live in the Penthouse of that House... :D

This proves it, Mercedes is evil, always has been.
I have a Benz and I like it a lot but I have no idea why anyone would wanna live in a luxurious MB branded condo as opposed to just a regular unbranded luxury condo. I don't get the point of having any car branded swag that isn't an accessory for the car or having to do with the car.
Imagine having such a ridiculously tiny house, thats not even the size of the 3rd west wing.
I'll be your nitpicky english teacher today: At 2:42 you say "since almost 100 years". That is incorrect, you can say "for almost 100 years" or "since almost 100 years ago". Remember: "since" is for points in time, "for" is for durations of time. The German "seit fast 100 jahren" doesn't translate literally at that point.
It’s phallic af 😂
Great video topic, I hadn't thought about this since the Porsche building. Would love to hear another video from you about carbon credits but specific to the auto industry. I wonder if companies like Mercedes will venture into different industries to obtain credits to either sell or use towards vehicle sales in ZEV states, since ZEV standards are higher than federal standards.
Can´t wait for Adam Something's take on these fancy renders XD
