My father always tell me such intetesting stories about Dev Anand and his movies. He always ask me to provide the youtube links of Dev Anand's old movies. I also like Dev and have watched his most of the old movies. I like 'solvaa saal'. My 10-year old son also like and sings Dev Anand's songs like 'main zindagi ka saath nibhata chala gaya', 'Hai apna dil to aawara', 'Ye dil na hota bechara', 'Dil pukare aare aare' In this way, literally 3 generations are following DEV ANAND.

Evergreen actor Devanand, and his films are with good and natural acting , and contains very beautiful songs. They are excellent, with good melody always.

I was so lucky to have met Dev Anand at a private dinner party in London and he pulled my cheeks and called me a 'cheeky boy'...he was so hilarious and eccentric and was very much his own person and warm-hearted.

I am lucky to have met Dev Sir once in a Party some 10 yrs back.. I held his hand & helped him to washroom without realizing who he is, it suddenly struck me & when I turned back he was standing there waving at me and said thank you beta... Priceless

My sweet heart evergreen Dev Anand a very beautiful n stylish person. His innocent face n beauty was bemisal. He was very energetic he never sit while he was shooting He never loose upon him after failure of movie. He again got up n ready to make new films. He will never be forgettable forever

A legend of Indian cinema industry. Dillip Kumarji, Raj Kapoorji and Dev Anandji were the three jewels whose works will keep the upcoming generation to learn from them about acting, script, music, dialogue and lot more of how cinema was made and contributed to the making of golden age of Indian cinema industry. His last movie which released was chargesheet and he was working on another script but unfortunately it didn't make it to the floor as he passed away. I was eagerly waiting for chargesheet to release in our near cinema halls. But it never happened. But I got it on KZread. I remember what he had said during a press meet over the release of chargesheet. One reporter asked what he would say about the result of the released movie chargesheet as only one audience was found to have seen that movie, he replied the success isn't in the huge crowd and audiences to watch chargesheet, but the success is in the movie released by an old man of 90+yrs. He said it at that time when movies under the big banners with big star cast and huge budgets were falling flat at the box office. Today's Indian cinema industry needs to learn how to make a great movie out of a great script. And should learn how to write creatively instead of copying from the west(Hollywood) and south(tollywood). Dev Anand ji's works will remain as greatest works of Indian cinema industry forever as it depicted all the true aspects of our Indian culture. He will remain evergreen forever in our memories.

I have watched movie guide I have lost count. That movie did wonders for me. The audio of that I play at random and his last scene and the Gita updesh ( sermon) stuck with me for ever. Thank you Dev, you will stay my Guide forever

I met Dev sahib when i was the head of site in charge at new Delhi airport when it was renovating stage and GMR took over it . Dev sahib came to departure lounge with le meradian hotel staff escorting him out side . But lounge was in counstruction stage so the head of architecture side my duty to escort him safely out side to his car . I did it and i touched his feet . He said, thanks for your services but why you touched my feet. I said simply in his talking style, i saw your movie,Tere Ghar Ke Samne in 1975 when i was in 6th class , at that time i decided, i will become an Architect and nothing else. So i did my architecture degree at the age of 23 and always thank full to Dev sahib for his romantic film Tere Ghar ke Samne as an architect. Where some shot filmised in Delhi, cenought place office that was Kothari associates office. And i am still working with kothari associates since 20 years. Nice interview Tabassum ji .
