I'm a big fan of euclidean sequencers... I found them super inspiring

This went super hard. The beat got me moving. Loved it. Had coffee. +1. Thinking outside the box how to use thing. Not one thing half baked about this. As the kids would say, straight banger! Loved this!

A big thank you Wabbit for listening and the sincere comment. Much appreciated. But yeah, although the midi programming has somewhat of a learning curve, there is a fun part to the flexibility. What midi programming are you thinking of? (I think, I remember you once tried to hack a tr8s?)

@@HalfBakedBeats the old me would try to find a way to do something with an iOS app. I’m sure it could be done. Or I’d try to make it work with Lanuch control XL. I’m sure it could be done. Not one for one what you did. Today, if something doesn’t break the bank, try out the thing. What I love about what you are doing is the immediacy. As you said, it would take some work yet that is the fun of it. The work I’ve done in my workarounds doesn’t last because it’s not truly fun.

Nice. Yeah, I must admit I'm liking the 8 bars, stereo, Euclidean, more samples, and especially the serious bug fixes in the 1.02 firmware. I'm also finding I'm now more comfortable creating longer loops in a DAW (Reaper) + bringing them over into this sampler (especially with stereo). Excited to see what other features get thrown in future releases. Do you have other samplers as well?

Thanks. Was a fun little project. Thinking what other parameters might be cool to expose.

Do you only use the 6 knobs in total? Or did you map any other fucntions to the other knobs? How did you manage to set it up so the octave shift is only +12, 0 or -12?

For this implementation I think I only used 6 functions. Might add other things if needed (Maybe delay? or other FX) Here is the function for the EN16. First I set the encoder min value to 0, and max to 2 (to generate a 0, 1 or 2). Then I sent the following values on midi CC 16 (DT tune) ---> "(val*12)+4+48" The val*12 would turn the 0, 1 or 2 into octave changes. The +4 was some offset correction. The +48 added 4 extra octaves upfront so we're starting off at tune 60 (the default). Does this help?

Could you plug this straight into the usb slot or do you need that adapter box? If it's class compliant it should work.

Good question. But from what I understood I think you'd need the KNOT midi host. The DT2 isn't a usb host according to: www.elektronauts.com/t/can-digitakt-2-ever-be-a-usb-midi-host/216148

ps. Paramaters = parameters, if it matters. :)
