What ending did you get in Prey, or what would you do in the trolley problem?

The answer to the trolly problem is obvious, you redirect it to kill one person to save 5, the reasoning is simple, if you're in a position where you can help in any way and choose to do nothing that makes you responsible by proxy for what happens, in the trolly problem that means that choosing to do nothing when you could have taken action is to choose 5 people to die over 1 person. But the question isn't about what the right answer is, it's about if you have the will power to do it, because knowing letting 5 people die is worse doesn't make being responsible for 1 person dying feel any better. Same for the version where you can choose yourself to die in place of anyone else, the obvious answer is to choose yourself, but the question is if you have the courage and will power to go through with it. For example, despite knowing what the right answer is, in those situations I would probably freeze up and the 5 people would die.

Yes, I think even the creators of the problem generally agree that saving more people is more correct. Also a good point how inaction is still an action and a choice. As for having the will, it is an interesting point and I feel that it’s based on the consequences, but I fear that those that are willing might be delusional to some degree. Like Thanos, who I think said he did what he did because he was the only person strong enough to do what’s right; which is halving the whole population of the universe. Definitely though, most people would just freeze up in the moment, or make the decision without full consideration.

Prey is one of my favorite games of all time. This is a damn good vide thay deserves much more attention and love and maybe luke the game you'll get that soon.

I like how I got the 333rd view and you had 343 subscribers when you made this video, according to the screenshot like halfway thru anyway. (343 is 7^3) 😅 Anywho thanks for the video, prey is one of my fav games.
