I used to go with my father to clean up a local ballroom on Saturday mornings. The light, or lack of it, the ashtrays, drink glasses on the tables, the smells, I'll never forget how it made me feel as a kid. The ghost of last night still in the air before floating into the ether forever. Haunts me still.

Reminds me of the big underground fancy ballrooms in ‘They live’. They look so normal until you realize it’s secluded and isolated in the middle of nowhere

I didn't expect to like this that much, but surprisingly I did! I ended up taking a warm bath to this playlist and I felt so comfortable after!!! :D

The song I knew was Billy Munn Dream Away, I can’t still can’t find a piano cover for it
The eternal ballroom music's actual name is Sailor Moons OST "A girls feelings"! Just telling! But i just love that song! :))

Closely resembles the liminality of the eternal Ballroom, aside the Backrooms reference, Sailor Moon has one of the most majestic anime ost's in my opinion.

@@TypicalOven For sure. I saw a comment on one of the tracks calling it "Cinderella meets the 70s," and to this day that's the most apt description for it I've ever heard.
