Likewise ! Over the last six months, all talks and videos seemed to come at the right time. Even this one that's shorter than usual, is actually so perfect to sum things up that I feel like sending it to all the people I've had deep conversations with, so they can understand what's going on with me and to see how they resonate with it :)

This is the best advice on forgiveness (not forgiving) I have ever heard in my life. You always hear throughout your life - "learn to forgive" or "healing starts with forgiveness" -- and I've searched for years trying to figure out HOW to forgive -- the thing is I AM over it -- I see it from many perspectives -- All I needed was this confirmation -- now I can stop trying to figure out HOW and just let it be. My 7 year-old is very open-hearted like this, and I am frozen in terror at the playground when people shut down and either pick on her for being so friendly and innocent, or they just completely ignore her. It truly breaks my heart more than anything else. My son went through it too, he's 10 now and he is not open like he was.. even though we have discussed in depth..that people act to show how they've been treated. It must be a natural thing for all humans, right? It is agonizing for me because I can't protect them from what life does.
