The 66 books of the current bible always felt disjointed to me, but as you've brought us Enoch and the apocryphal books it has suddenly become like a beautiful puzzle finally recieving it's missing pieces! Thank you Mr Glyn, I know without a doubt that God is using you in these end times to bring understanding and wisdom to those destined to have ears to hear. Obviously, if God existed, She would be obvious to everyone & there would be no demand for theologians, sacred text, & speculations about Her requirements. She would be superior in every way to the Jewish God. Theology has doctorates just as if it were a science, like a medical doctor or mechanical engineer. Glory to God for giving us the knowledge that Jesus entrusted to Barnabas. We receive when we have sought and when God sees our readiness. God gives to those who seek. Now this Epistle of Barnabas is another reward for seeking. Through it, we draw closer to Jesus in understanding, obedience and love..I am thankful and humbled by the divine power of Our Father and Kingship of Jesus in our little lives. Praise God his mercy endures forever and He gives to those who seek! Honor Jesus for His great sacrifice and devotion to love us this way, and rejoice in our sufferings be they for our love of Jesus.

Bless you. According to the essene calendar found in the Dead Sea scrolls, today is Nisan 25, 5949. The essenes and the early church fathers taught that human history has 6000 years, and then 1,000 years of the millennial rain. I believe this to be correct which means at most we have about 51 years.

2nd century. The author clearly had access to all 4 gospels which would have been impossible for Barnabas. Hence why not one of any churches has veneration for it.

This books reminds me of the book of Hebrews. It has a lot of the Old Testament theme. I can see it was written to Hebrew believers. I thought that since Barnabas worked alongside Paul it would have had more of a Gentile flavor like the letters of Paul do.

Hello, I suggest that you read the books. I’ve had also read the books of Nicodemus and Barnabas also book Adam and Eve. The book of Barnabas is really wonderful speaking of the sabbath instead of arguing with one another in the churches like the Sabbath being on a Friday Saturday or a Sunday even. The book of Barnabas makes it very clear, what the Sabbath actually is today.

I have not made it through all of this epistle yet, but keep in mind the sufficiency of scripture. We Protestants, Catholics, and Orthodox agree on the sufficiency of 4 gospels. Some verses are very easily misunderstood in this, but there is great wisdom and insight. So do not keep this at the level of our 4 gospels, but keep in mind the value of it

There were some slight inconsistencies, however this book is full of wisdom and offers insight into how we are to live and adds more meaning to our scriptures

I see this book and other books like this, as good history books. I don’t put them on the same level as scripture, I believe God would have put them in our Bible if it was to be on the same level as scripture. And we can compare it to the scriptures if it contradicts scripture, we believe the scripture . But It’s the same as reading a theology book today only better., As it is a part of that New Testament church written from the fully understanding perspective of Judaism of that day, also Barnabous would’ve had access to manuscripts that we don’t have today as this was written 2000 years ago. What a gem!

How could the Lord have removed his word inspired through his prophets and disciples?🤔 It wasn't the Lord's doing that these books were removed but rather the evil one ploy. These books were intentional removed due to deeper secrets scrolled in them. The revelation in these books shades lights to what happened in the early times after creation, leading to the destruction of the world during Noah's time and what was or is to come in the end times especially the Book of Enoch, Esdras, Jasher and the likes. Ch 2:4-5 according to this writing- he abolished the new moons and sabaths? Wow!!! 🤦🏻‍♂️ The Master declared with His righteuos mouth COMPLETELY DIFFERENT. Could He have said something else instead of Sabath, if He intended to done away with it? "Pray that your flight will not take place in winter or on the Sabbath." Mat 24:20 He expects us to Honor Him being the word the commandments of the Father. Have you thought why in 7 days creation of Elohim the 7th day the Father rested? We rest and honor sabath that the Father instituted to man kind, a everlasting law. I think if this book was actually written by Barnabas It should’ve been included in Cannon. That being said, I don’t think that it was, based on the information that I know, but when it comes to contradicting the Torah, books like these that weren’t included in canon often would be highly edited by Greek scribes especially considering that Greek scribes even changed out stuff in canonical books, so why wouldn’t they in books like these that weren’t necessarily included in canon.

A lot of this is copycat from other passages in the bible.

All the calls to prayer ignore nothing fails like prayers in a children's hospital, we know them by their works, calling us to pray. Shame on them. There cannot be anything respectable about suggestions amounting to travel being done best with one foot in fantasyland. We have Moses: World's worst navigator to show for it. The antidote to Christianity is literacy. The faithful exercise the vocabulary of fiction. What can you say to that? Moreover, Jesus says faith is worthless, you can't get mountains to move by your orders & expect obedience. Also, "faith without works is dead" & "God helps those helping themselves" because God has a perfect record of doing nothing. Jesus comes not with peace, but sword. We must work with the same vocabulary. Believers are in the wrong, they are the wicked generation seeking signs such a resurrection. The poor quality of character is obvious, since we cannot all pretend there is a God who creates Mormons so Christians will know how Jews feel. The actual, and only sign given to a wicked generation is Jonah: A believer, thrown overboard to calm the sea by other believers.
