Its so cool to see you and London getting to spend so much time together! You both are great on video. Kind of expecting him to start his own channel!
This video is spectacular…nay, even magnificent. We laughed until we cried. We thought it was over, then we laughed and cried again over a dead bird song. Storybook Island is now a destination for us. Thank you for such a bright spot in the day.
This is also super nostalgic because we used to go to Rapid City all the time as a kid and my dad took us to both dinosaur park and storybook island
Boy you sure do have fun out there. And London is a good sport....he looks like he thiks you are a nut sometimes, but he also looks like he is glad to be there with you. These are the memories that stick in our mind. I remember family journeys at his age, and I am in my 60s. Keep it up dad!
I'm so glad you went to Storybook Island. Took me back when my grandma took me there in 1993 when I was 5/6 years old. I actually have a picture with the Wizard of Oz scene
Landon is so cute he seems to laugh at you all the time. Me and my girls love watching your videos!
A number of years ago, Rapid had a flood. My aunt was up on a hill so was safe, but the city was severely damaged. Storybook land was damaged a lot, even some of the figures floated into neighborhood yards. I loved going there and Dinosaur Park when I was a kid … which was decades ago. Most of the figures in both parks I remember from the ‘70’s. I haven’t been there in many years. This was so much fun to see them again! Thank you!
Love the mention of the Dinosaur 🦖 Park in Rapid City, SD. As a young girl, our parents took us to see Mount Rushmore and we bought the Mold-a-Rama wax dinosaurs. My Triceratops was blue, my older sister’s Tyrannosaurus was red, while my little sister’s wax dinosaur was a green Brontosaurus 🦕! The real name! 😏
Don't you have medical insurance. Loved all the freebies, dionsaur land, the children's park left me speechless and I did see "Dancing with Wolves", great movie.
You are freaking hysterical. Of all the places you could have gone to in the Black hills you would end up at Storybook Island. That's awesome!
You're welcome. Thank *you* for taking us along on your trip across our huge and beautiful country. 👍
Hey Justin, I watched throughout the entire east coast journey and I gotta say, I appreciate you shining the light on diy roadside attractions and hidden gems. To show my support, I recently went to your stall in the Antique Mall and got myself something from your booth. I’ve been watching Since 2016 and I’ve enjoyed every single video.
It was reminding me of Garden Grove's "Dragon Park" I took my kids to in the 70s.
Hard to believe there are no comments. You two are adorable. Thanks for sharing and educating.
OMG the voices kill me...love the old timey rocket slide..I remember those
As mentioned in the previous video, the last time I was in Rapid City, SD was in 1991. It awesome to see that *Dinosaur Park, Storybook Island and Fort Hays* are still open and welcoming visitors. BTW I have a *fun pic* of my cousins and me standing under the Bronto. Yes, the T-Rext had teeth back then.
Great video! I went to the Dinos when I was a kid waaaaaaaaaay back in the 90s.
Love this place-used to go there when I was a kid. Been to the 1880s train in Hill City-goes to Keystone…..
Glad you made it over to the Dances With Wolves attraction, that is one of my favorite things to see in Rapid City. Never knew about storybook land. WOW, My grand kids would love to go there
My dad absolutely loves your videos and Rapid City. He freaked out when I told him this video was the newest upload! 😃
I would've lost my mind if I'd visited these places as a kid! Thanks so much for sharing, I never knew about this awesomeness!
I live in Whitewood SD, 25 miles west from Rapid City, and I will never hear Storybook Island the same again! 😂
Omg your John Travolta impersonation was on point 🤣
Loved the Yogi Bear scene! 🐻
You can tell how much London loves his dad by how he dresses alone. The adidas 🥹
We really enjoyed seeing all your adventures on this trip, and all the history was fantastic. Thank you!
Hey, it's my home town! It's crazy to see stuff in Storybook Island that I climbed on as a kid... 40 years ago!
OMG Atlantis park......yes had a few birthday parties there!!!!!
This was epic! What great places and you made me cry laugh as always! The end was a hoot, the grasshopper did kinda look guilty, and I'm with you..never eat the pizza crust!
Aye that be Barbossa with Mr Cotton's parrot Justin .... (I love the Postman movie u have to tell your dad that... this was awesome .. thanks for showing these places to go to by Mount Rushmore 👍)
I like the enthusiasm of this guy lol brings good energy, thanks for visiting my city
Loved this! Good to see you two are having fun together.
London looks so excited to be there!!
LOL I love it when you put a voice to inanimate objects.
The heat melted poor Nemo and as they say the best things in life are free
I love the alternate seven dwarfs.
Loved your video! 13:14 that reminds me of the Route 66 Blue Whale!
Shakikiki Dude your videos are truly Randomly awesome. Thanks for bringing some nostalgic and wonderful joy to my life
The Park was really awesome, So many cool things!.
Fear not! Brontosaurus got reinstated as a separate genus in 2015! YAAAAAAAY!
If you are ever in South Dakota again you got to make sure you go to Wall Drug South Dakota just east of Rapid City. And if you make it out to Mount Rushmore again go see the Crazy Horse Memorial which is another huge carving in a Mountainside and the needles rode through the Black Hills is pretty amazing Drive
OH BOY IT'S FREE!
I loved this park! My family toured there a few years back.
This reminded me of a park from my childhood called Happy Hollow in San Jose, CA!
That park is awesome . Very well kept.
Enjoyed video. Cheers to London for playing along.
thanks for taking us along.
Wow that place is incredible! I’d love to take my kiddos here!!!
Hey Justin good vlog and thank you and keep up the good work you do love jari
We were looking for a special antique place when we ran into the presidents! A nice surprise!
I love The Postman!!!
London is now my new favorite deadpan comedian.
Definitely work on that Travolta!!
Sorry for the car trouble! It's not much, but we truly enjoy your videos. We're coming to Southern California in October, looking forward to shopping your booth!
That free park is so cool! I love it!
This was awesome to see. Thank you Justin 🤘
Love it , such a Great Video, poor lil birdie, wonder if slyvester was around, Jimney would hurt that birdie, prob saw the whole thing though... lol now I need to grab some ice cream lol
Dude, your commentary is hilarious today. Thanks for another good vid.
SO MANY DINOSAURS!
I love The Postman and Water World
Another Awesome video! Always keeping me laughing! See you at MidSummer Scream!
Great Video. Love all your videos.
I have a picture of me about 6 years old in front of that brontosaurus with my brothers. There was no park, no rails. It made a big impression on me. Btw I enjoyed The Postman lol
Love the Dinosaur Park-maybe work your way to the Rapid City Greyhound Park and place a couple of bets……
You have the best voice for this, you’d be such a great voice actor
This is my new favorite video.
I absolutely enjoyed your content. Been a fan since I saw the clown motel video😁
Always love a video from your adventures!!

And I can't wait to take my family on a rodateip like this soon
I’ve loved the adventure. It would be epic to go on adventures like this. I am on a quest to see what cool things I can find that I can get to.
Although it's kind of actually the wrong color for it, as I was seeing the replica helicopter, I started hearing, in the back of my head, the theme song from the old-ish TV series M*A*S*H, because of the opening scene to each episode. Still one of my favorite shows of all time, and will likely always be.
Omg the ‘thats not our dino’ 🤣🦖
Your hysterical!!!LOL
The Barney Song: "I love you, you love me, I chased Barney up a tree, with a big shotgun, shot him in the head, oh my gosh, I think he's dead...." I sang that to my nieces about 25 years ago. My sister-in-law was mad at me for about a decade after that, 'cause that's the only way they sang it after that.
I recently found your channel and I love it. My favorite videos are you in Halloween. If you haven't heard yet, but Hersey Park is going for an upgraded scare park. You have to check it out, I will not spill the details but it is a must-see.
London is such a mood. Ha ha
Very nice!!!
Yay Brontosaurus!
I like The Postman 😆
My town I spent and still do go to storybook Island my kids spent there summers there it was our disneyland . Dinosaur park great places for sunsets maim streets square has a water feature and during the winter it is an ice skating rink , oh yeah that was the second location for storybook Island the first one got hurt by the 1972 flood
Devil's Tower is a must!
I love the cheesy dinosaur touristy things lol
This has been quite a trip! Long too. Wassup London!
Garden Grove represent!
So strange. I'm here right now passing through thinking what could we do here for fun, and this video gets posted
Hey. My girlfriend and I are longtime fans. Next time you’re in the area, we’d love to play tour guide. We even know all the best places to eat gluten free.
They have free music certain days I think thursdays there in the main street park and the water fountains come on at a certain time.
Get away from my FORT!!!!!! Classic
FREE ATTRACTIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
He kinda sounds like the ice dude from Adventure Time
Well done
Thanks!
If you want to watch a good western with your son with Kevin Costner and Robert Duvall that’s Open Range. And it was fun following you on your trip!
You can add another person to the list of people who remember The Postman, as I remember it myself. Pretty sure my father does as well, but you'll have to ask him about it yourself.
I didn't know about he dinosaurs when I was there. Too bad you missed Crazy Horse. Much more impressive than Rushmore.
Brontosaurus and Brachiosaurus are two different dinosaurs. The key difference between Brontosaurus and Brachiosaurus is the appearance of them. Brontosaurus is an elephant-like dinosaur while Brachiosaurus is a giraffe-like dinosaur.
Heck yes to the helicopter!!! 🚁
I only like to eat the pizza crust if I have a cheese dip to dunk it in. Lol.
It wasn't that long ago that they found Brontosaurus to be a legitimate name after all. So now there is both Apatosaurus as well as Brontosaurus.
Dude~ London is SO going to pass you in hieght!!!
I usually eat my pizza crust. If it's flavored or stuffed or just tasting good. But if it's cheaper pizza like little Caesars, Ill usually just toss the crust.
