"The Entity" Real-Life Researchers on Eyewitness LA (1970s)
Dr. Barry Taff & Kerry Gaynor filmed at the UCLA Parapsychology Lab in the seventies, discuss the genesis of "The Entity" poltergeist case later made into a movie starring Barbara Hershey (1981). Also, they discuss the Wiseman haunting at Palos Verdes, CA & theories of what poltergeists really represent. This may be the earliest existing interviews of the two ghosthunters. Taff & Gaynor later worked as technical consultants on the movie based on their experiences at the Doris Bither home located on Braddock Street in Culver City where the phenomenon began.

Dr Taft is an amazing guy, he is a levelheaded, intelligent guy that's well versed in this subject, which is elusive and erratic at best, this story and the San Pedro case are my two favorite studies into this mysterious field.
Wow very interesting vintage footage. I enjoy hearing more about this case.
That was some cool old footage.
I've heard they explored her case. They made a book, a movie and she didn't earn anything.
Seemingly the woman continued to be assaulted for years after by “entities”. I just can’t comprehend how she lived her life

@@jamesrow3794 Please. Sleep paralysis doesnt leave scratch marks on your back looking like long claw marks in many cases. One only need speak to hospice nurses who can recount all sorts of unexplainable paranormal events that made them change their tune . Skeptics Pfft.

Her head was haunted, so it will fallow her everywhere she goes 😅
Dr. Barry Taft is so young. You can tell that it’s him. Haha 😂
i always find these type people more credible cuz they are scientific and sane and study this phenomena seriously unlike these modern millenial DUDE RUN ridiculous ghost hunting shows

He also wrote "Audrey Rose" and "For Love of Audrey Rose" A movie was made of the first book.
Kerry Gaynor's hair is paranormal
Over exposure would also create the Whiting out of a photo .

Ahh, the days of the "hair helmet."
Poltergeist means knocking spirit/noisy spirit in German not mischievous prank playing ghost.

It's very likely the pair inspected the contents of each other's pants when they weren't ''ghost hunting''.
