Everything related to signs is the best part of this update. Hanging signs! Double-sided signs! Editable signs! But also waxable so you don’t edit accidentally! Incredible stuff

I'm still disappointed that the sniffer only can find two plants. When it was presented i thought we would get more. Like 1.17 had 6 new plants so I thought the sniffer would at least have 4 plants (with the cherry tree and the petals it would've been 6 too).

The great thing about the sniffer is that it's open to have more plants added to it in the future. There is absolutely nothing about the design that says it only has to have those two plants. If Mojang has a plant idea that dose not fit any current biome or dimension they can just give it to the sniffer.

@@EmperorPenguin1217 With these mobs the designs are difficult to iterate on or they are so new it's not even a question why they don't add anything new yet, and it's not like they do this with all mobs. Almost every update now bees keep getting an upgrade, wandering traders get new trades now, and horses have been given a buff just recently. I think we are forgetting what mojang does do, too distracted by what they haven't done yet. Think of the sniffer being closer to a wandering trader where the trader's items are somewhat separate from the trader himself so they have always added new trades when there is opportunity. Ofc, This will not be something that they do every update but the fact is the sniffer's design allows the dev team those options.

Armour trimming is probably the best thing that happened in this update

Unrelated but maybe the portal in the deep dark takes us back in time (another dimension) where the sniffer once called home. The sniffer seems really unique and looks like it would belong to another dimension…

Can you perhaps make a Best 1.20 Seeds video? Would be useful for all of us looking to start brand new worlds with the Update!

I have such a great feeling about the future of Minecraft thanks to this update. The aesthetics and looks are amazing.

The one feature nobody seems to really mention in videos is the modding potential. This update has the most modding potential since 1.16! 1.17-1.19 were just Caves and Cliffs parts 1, 2, and 3 and 1.20 is its own update!

Finally Minecraft has a Lego crossover.

I just now realized that both new mobs lay down in the same legs-out way… Other than foxes I think they are the only other mobs with a laying down animation. I guess cats sleep with you but do they lay down?

they lay down on beds independently too but god i really want to see a mob animation/behaviour overhaul - the design of the newer mobs are so good and full of life and it really makes it glaringly clear how lacklustre the old mobs feel in comparison

With out the plate you will not get that armor unless you make it the same way as you do with diamond armor and as hard as it is to find that would be a waste.

@@dragonwing1982 true but if you can flex like imagine leather armor with every single netherite template that would be a waste yes but it would also be a big flex that with also a netherite beacon

Random comment but head to a birch forest and use commands to replace the leaves with cherry leaves, it works so well

I haven’t been on Minecraft in a couple years, armor trimming looks incredible

This is the most underwhelming update ever lol

I honestly feel like 1.20’s archeology is extremely underwhelming. When it was first shown off in 2020, the sherds were colored and you had to cook the clay pots to harden them. Now you just craft them with no customization, with pots that lack color, making them look lifeless. This lack of color limits these pots being pretty much useless as there is now only one color scheme for the pots to be used in for builds.

I love the new update except one thing: Having to find that template for crafting our netherite gear is simply not ok since it’s only a 3,2 % we find them.

Cherry blossom leaves look great and are going to make a wonderful impact on my builds, bamboo stuffs look great, netherite changes… I guess time will tell if I like it (ambivalent currently). Getting a Piglin head… I’m not sure how much I like the idea of going through a portal that I just sent a charged Creeper through. I’m thinking that sending a name tagged Creeper through one portal, then making my way to the Nether through a different portal, then play the kite game (carefully). It’ll be fun.

I always come to your videos to see what's new with Minecraft although I haven't played it in many years now.

At first I thought this update was gonna be bad, but now my faith has been restored.

The only thing I'm REALLY not looking forward to is having to hunt down Piglin bastions just for the soul purpose of being able to make netherite tools and armor. That's just insanity at that point

This update needed more hopefully next update is better and to do with something that we’ve needed an update for which is the end or any other biomes it would also be cool to get a new dimension

This has got to be the most dragged out video I've seen in a long time

I don't know about my favorite overall update, but the Camel Yeet is my favorite part of the Camel

Problem is that Sniffers can only sniff a block once and there's no reason to even use the allays because of minecart hoppers

@@LineOfThy No they don't, the hopper minecart is way easier to find and it's more efficient. With the allay you need to set up note blocks and contain the thing so it doesn't fly away Hoppers do everything the allay can but better

I like that you said the update is about exploring. I've recently been thinking of not using an Elytra, sure it's great, but it takes away a lot of the survival aspect of the game. So maybe I'll have to come up with some limitations-of-use or something to make it more fun.

Problem is new terrain has just far too much random verticality. I just stopped playing until my friends found the end cause I was having such a bad time trying to do anything. They desperately need to make minecarts better and some sorta grapplehook/throwable rope.

Actually the mob vote was rigged because I would rather have a mob that gives me a enchanted pickaxe instead of a flower sniffing mob that we are only gonna use in creative
