Fiancee: What I did wasn't bad, I need more time to decide before the wedding! Wife: What I did wasn't bad, it's not like you're my mother, get off my back! It never ends. They will blame women for their bad behavior until the cows come home. And women get sabotaged by their internalized guilt. The "good woman" who can stop male abuse by merely being good enough does not exist. Don't fall for it.

On one hand, I come from a pretty dysfunctional family and didn't know what a loving relationship looked like, let alone a healthy one. So sometimes I have unhealthy behaviours/reactions/impulses that, looking back, are based off what I saw + experienced as a kid with my parents. So I get when Clay says he didn't have healthy relationships modeled to him. THAT SAID, I've been in therapy for years, watch countless hours of relationship therapy videos, listen to hours of therapy podcasts, talk to friends, talk to my partner, etc. etc. to figure out how I can best show up day after day in all my relationships (romantic and platonic). So I DON'T understand why Clay just uses his parents' relationship as an excuse like AD'll just have to put up with shitty behaviours or lack of commitment. Like wtf is that, take your life into your own hands, you're a grown man.

Girl, I was looking forward to your video all day!!!!! This was such a fun one. I do gotta say though, I definitely agree that AD can and should be allowed to wear whatever she wants. She is absolutely stunning. BUT but but, I do think that she holds SOME of the responsibility in this situation. I watched a great Jessie Woo collaborative video today that was really enlightening regarding this show. It made me consider a few things. - Sometimes, the people we choose as partners are a mirror reflection of us. A lot of what Clay was doing is stuff that AD often mirrored, but in her own way. - She knew Clay was the type of man who treated her like this in the past, but her desire to fix men (which she admitted to), made her walk into the arms of a man who told her from the beginning that he didn't want to be married. She recently said in a podcast that he even mentioned his unwillingness in the pods. They both knew the outcome of this and went ahead with the risk. - I don't think there's anything wrong with loving your beauty as a woman, but there's something about the way AD chose to lead with her body because she knew she looked good...kinda like Clay did too. Her walking down the aisle to him only making a comment about her body...not even her beautiful face or dress or soul. Nope, he opened his mouth and said "Okay body." And she was like hell yeah, that's what you should be proud of. Idk, that just felt off to me. - Also, AD just said in an interview that her and Clay remain flirty friends...like straight up engagement to situationship? That's terrifying ngl. But anyway I absolutely love your videos! Please keep them coming, I'm locked in to your channel haha
