I made newcrest a hidden away cult and Johnny is going to get married to the fathers daughter. (the father being the cult leader) the father has 3 wives and 3 kids (at the moment his wives are pregnant again) . Everyday they go out into the farm harvest the crops, do the washing, do the cooking and manage the cult store where people can buy honey, cupcakes and get their cult clothes.

fun story I'm brazilian, and my first The Sims game was TS3, I was young so I played it in portuguese in the beginning of the video I was really wondering who the heck were the "Landgraab" and why the f*ck were they so important, then I saw Nancy and I knew "holy sh*t she's talking about the Quero-Tudo-Que-É-Seu family" and it's so funny because all made sense The rough translation to that name is "I-Want-Everything-That-You-Own" and that's legit the name of the Landgraabs in the brazilian portuguese version of the games, so there you go

One of my sims got with the Caliente girls, all of then have a kid of his. He came to the house became he married my sim. Nina got divorced of my sim after she found out what he did, she left her kid, moved out of the house and is living life in the city like she doesn't care. Dina fell in love with Don and moved out as well, both took Nina's baby as their own and Dina has another baby but this time with Don, so in total they take care of 3 kids in Windenburg. Finally Katrina stayed at home and now is focused on taking care of her baby, she is the one that knew all a long what my sim was doing. She decided to kiss him in front of everyone and told them what was my sim's plan all along.

Can we talk about how Johny Zest is a landgraab but his trailer has things inside that scream goth family?

Maybe the Goth family wanted to adopt him Addams family style (just someone shows up and they're family now) but he felt bad accepting their help so sometimes they give him stuff that "needs to be replaced" or clothes that "seem to have come in the wrong size, dear, they'll fit you perfectly though!" and he knows that they do it for him but they deny it whenever he says so.

I don't think that Holly is the same Holly Alto from 3, they don't look the same. But people in the gallery have created the Alto family and I think your idea is great! I'm gonna do it in my next save file since Johnny and the Landgraabs are long dead in my current one. But I did move him to Del Sol Valley, made him famous and top of the career and married with kids ❤

@@shineeshaymin I'll admit Holly from the Sims 4 doesn't really lend herself to a Johnny Zest romance because she has that fame quirk which makes her dislike comedy. Plus the fact with her fame level she won't even talk to Johnny. However I think sort of makes the story more interesting. In my story Nancy used her criminal connections to destroy the Alto family so Holly had to make her own way in the world by selling her paintings. Johnny is disgusted with Nancy's behaviour and leaves to start a new name for himself. Despite the change of name Holly knows who he is and doesn't trust him but as Johnny progress in his career they become close.

Personally, I’m not surprised if Geoffrey and Nancy had Johnny Zest just a years before Malcom. When Malcom was born, they probably never thought of him as a spare since Johnny would have been the next head of the family. However, when Johnny didn’t want to be the next head, the family had all record of him being born into the family erased.

Super late fun fact: Johnny, Malcolm and Geoffrey all have the same eye preset. In my mind Johnny is definitely Nancy and Geoffrey’s eldest son.

In the sims 4 Landgraab is mentioned for the school and the company that shuts your utilities down.

theory: malcom the first is johnny zest, and after he left his parents' house to follow his dreams, they disowned him and had a replacement child to save their reputation.

Ok hear me out... there's a theory that Nina and Dina (and Katrina too) are NOT the ones from sims 2 but they are aliens badly disguised as them (as they look ugggglyyy and nothing at all like in sims 2) Also EA whitewashed them a lot... that's just ew. In the Sims Bustin' Out, for consoles, which was around the time of Sims 2 games coming out, Malcom Landgraab is basically a young adult who owns like the entire town, and steals all your stuff. You have to work your way up the social ranks in the game to ultimately move into his mansion and kick him out and get everyone's stuff back.

I connected Johnny zest to the Landgraab family in the sims 4 but still had him be disowned. On playing him he got an opportunity for fame that boosted him to a 2 star celeb and promoted him 3 levels. He don't need those Landgraabs

The very first sim I made in The Sims 4 was an aspiring author who lived in the lot across the street from Johnny's trailer and they fell in love and got married and had two adorable sons. My sim became a bestselling author and Johnny levelled up in his comedy career and then I moved them out of my sims little house into a bigger, better one. Gemma and Johnny were OTP af and honestly it was like the most romcomy thing ever to discover that Johnny Zest was the ostracized member of some old money, blueblood family all this time lol.

Man, i never knew that thing about Johnny Zest. I just saw his lot and was like, "lmao why is there a trailer park there" and even when my own made sims are out and about and I look through their relationships, "HOW TF ARE YOU BEST FRIENDS WITH _JOHNNY ZEST?!_ " I think I gave him far too much of a hard time. Then again, i always hated Malcolm as well

In my sims4 game, I had a teen who was going to Malcolm's birthday party. Everybody's chatting an' stuff and I get a notification saying Sara is very hungry and is going to get taken away if we don't feed her. (Nacy was doing who knows what) so I had to bottle feed Malcolm's little sister cause nobody else was.

I remember despising the Landgraabs when I first started the sims 3, because they were so rich and my family was so poor (I didn’t know cheats, and I also just jealous)

As an avid Sims fan, I appreciate the hell out of these videos ❤️ thank you for your contribution to society

I recognise Malcolm Landgraab I from console, he was in the sims bustin out and always stole furni from peoples houses when you moved to a different house throughout the storymode

You missed out the landgrabb family from the sims bustin out. Arguably the most interesting family timeline.

Jessica Kelly I would definitely recommend the sims 2! There were some pretty cool neighbourhoods with good back stories- Strangertown was my favourite

I once made a sim who married Johnny Zest and I made him a vampire and he bit all of the landgraabs. I then proceeded to lock them all outside.

I get why you didn't bring up the spin offs and console games cause it'd get messy, but it's a shame you didn't get to bring up the console Malcolm and his kids Dudley and Mimi. It's wild cause they're you're half siblings ingame lol Great video regardless though 😊

When I had my Xbox 360, (it's broken now) I remember playing the pets expansion pack and then stumbled upon the abandoned Goth mansion. It was so cool and spooky looking. Also, it had tons of ghosts inside. I sadly never got rid of all the ghosts.

I guess we could make a FTM play through of Johnny Zest. 🤔

I’m pretty sure Johnny is Geoffrey and Nancy’s son. Because if you marry your sim to Johnny and have kids, Geoffrey and Nancy will be listed as grandparents.

Fruit for thought: what if Johnny Zest is actually Magnus Landgrabb but since it’s an alternate world. He ended up being the good one wanting to be a comedian and his brother Malcolm ended up being the rotten apple. However in both realities he got kicked out

One of my teen sims was invited to Malcom’s B-Day.She shows up,and the only other guests were Malcom’s parents.My Sim got very bored and when Malcom blew out the candles,Geoffrey was in his room playing Bitchblock.What a perfect family!

Johnny Zest is my favorite of all Laandgraabs because I watched Meme House XD

forgot sims bustin out ( my favourite ) probably one of the best story lines for the landgraab families

question is whats the origin of the family name Landgraab is it englisch ? land grab (take land) or is it german Landgrab (countryside grave) both makes sense since the family is rich and most of them die young

Ah this brings back so many memories...like the time in Sims 3 I wanted to play somewhat of a drama of sorts. I made a character who was a smooth talking, charming gold digger who wanted in on the Landgraab fortune. He joined the business career and moved up into management where he met Nancy Landgraab and talked her up and soon began a secret affair. He moved up the corporate ladder and even moved in with Nancy to her house, but they hid their affair from her family. I eventually killed off Geffory (dont remember how, maybe pulled the ladder from the pool or something I forget lol) and once he died, my guy married Nancy, took her name, adopted her son as his own and took over the business after becoming CEO....and then I killed off Nancy and the son when he turned into a teen and then my guy was the sole Landgraab in my save. All the money and power was his. He Landgrabbed the Landgraabs!

It's so fascinating that a game like the Sims has such... Relatively rich lore? Would love to watch a video about the whole lama, chinchilla and whatever else drama they had in there!

The thing I want most in the Sims 5 is lore back 😭 even if they build off the alternate timeline of the Sims 4, just give us lore again!

In my game of the sims, Geoffrey Landgrab was killed by a meteor that struck the hospital my sim was working at. A couple days later, my sim was promoted to his position. ... In the nude. My sim glitched out and was 100% naked, no pixellation blur or anything, when he got an emergency call to come to work, and got the world-famous surgeon, or whatever it was.

Theory: jonny zest is the first Malcom (the real one) and the other Malcom is a replacement, as he did not follow the family tradition of being evil ;))

Jonny Zest mystery solved: Jonny (given name Malcolm Landgraab) was the first born son of Geoffrey and Nancy Landgraab. He grew up as a good child with the wish to become a doctor like his Dad (sims 3), RBI’s dream faded when his dad moved career paths. Nancy and Geoffrey then welcomed their second born. Nancy aware of Malcolms lack of interest in the Landgrabb heritage decided that their second born would take the family name Malcolm Landgrabb for the hope he will follow in the right footsteps. Second born Malcolm (sims 4) quickly became Nancy’s favourite with his evil traits and greed. First born Malcolm (aka Jonny Zest) came to learn the history of his family, which he wanted no part of. His interest now being the entertainment industry. The family disowned him and Malcolm took his Stage name Jonny Zest. So there you have it, there are two Malcolms which explains the differences between the two characters in sims 3/4

I married Malcolm IV and Dina Caliente in my sims 2 game and I've never seen two Sims more perfect for each other

So happy I found out about your channel! The sims have always been one of my all time favorite games. Its awesome how much you cover in depth. Amazing content so far

I kinda like the idea that Johnny Zest is actually the sweet Malcom kid from the sims 3. After disowning him, they re-used Malcom for their younger son. Doesn’t explain how Nancy is the same age in sims 3 and sims 4. Alternate timeline shouldn’t mean time warp. 😅

OMG what if Johnny Zest is Malcom from sims3 and the sims4 Malcom is a child that they adopted and say is Malcom!!!!...

I think the sims team not having to hold up a storyline in the sims 4 is one of the things that made it not as well put together. The other sims games they decorated people’s houses with little things you might not notice, they have storylines between families and especially. Bella Goth’s story for example, when you find her grave in the Sims 3 Lunar Lakes, and it all plays into the big storyline. They don’t have to do that in the Sims 4. They only have a couple of ‘storylines’ I think if the sims 4 wasn’t an alternate universe and maybe if they squeezed it into the timeline between the sims 1 & 2, the story of the game would be much more entertaining.
