save the world has not been the main mode since summer 2019, when they ended development and updates. Save the World only exists because there is no reason to get rid of it, it is not in any way the main mode. All the effort that has been put into save the world as a mode (not counting things that affect all modes) is less than what was put into chapter 1 of BR

Fortnite may be goofy, but when you get into the lore it gets REAL.

I bet that Ramirez would’ve played a huge role in this too, considering she has quite a number of snapshots and was also the main face for stw. Unfortunately the voice actor left years ago so that’s probably why she wasn’t in the storyline.

Question, how come the MEGA season was completely omitted? It played a part as to why Stellan's Rift Gate was destroyed and revealed a new member of The Last Reality, Triarch Nox. Not only that, Optimus Prime's transmissions in WILDS was never mentioned. His final transmission is what gave Slone the idea to use Kado Thorne's time machine to send Jones to the past.

A lot of people seem to think that the storyline of Chapter 4 is chaotic and disconnected from each other, and I guess either T5G couldn't find the time to fit the MEGA season's storyline into the video or they seriously just didn't think it mattered in the slightest to the overarching story. I do think they should've atleast mentioned it in passing since it would be nice to actually see what other realities the Rift Gate brought in. Of course, whether or not Triarch Nox or anything MEGA related will tie back into the storyline in the future is unknown right now, but hey, if they mention other "unrelated" loose ends and plot points, you never know!

Chapter 5's island is an alternate version of the chapter 2 island it looks like and we're getting the Dr. Who collab in December or January which is in chapter 5 season 1 so I think the Time Machine is gonna crash on the island and then with the Dr. Who collab it will be part of the story to rebuild the Time Machine and then every week the Time Machine will get rebuilt until the end of the Dr. Who collab where it'll be fully rebuilt and then either Jones or a Dr. Who character will use the Time Machine to test it and then they'll come back with the Time Machine and it'll have sparks around it because it was just used and Jones and Slone will take it to a base on the island where he'll do research on the Time Machine but IO will return and will try to find out the location of the Time Machine to use it for evil

This is not only hyping me up for the event on Saturday, but it is also making me curious about what will happen next, will we have any recurring characters from the previous chapter or adapt to new ones, what will happen with the storyline behind the C5 island, and if the main storyline will collide with the upcoming modes we will get next chapter (for example, will the BR storyline collide/link with the Lego mode storyline... or even have a story collision with STW, which would be cool to get a BR voiced character like Jones in STW)... geuss the future will have all my answers, but there are no need for any time machines like Kado's to enjoy a good story, even if it isn't finished

Epic supposedly "rebooting" or "resetting" the entire storyline up until the Big Bang Event has serious implications. pretty much 6 years of lore leading to absolutely nothing and nowhere and all going down the drain, I mean think about everything Epic literally never explained, what is the connection between Battle Royale and Save The World, where the rocket went after Season 4, what exactly the in-between is, who beings like The Ice King, Prisioner, Monster, Singularity were, where the rockets went after Season X, who and and what Midas was and whatever happened to him, who the Seven actually are, who the Last Reality and the Cube Queen are and where they ended up, who Slone knew The Foundation as when he removed his helmet and why she was enraged, who Geno is and where he is, what was under the Foundation's statue behind those doors at the bottom, what the reality tree was supposed to be, who the Herald and her chrome powers are, and the mystery of the Nothing, the Seven all went missing after Chapter 3, Amie went missing after Chapter 4 Season 1, what happened to the Oathbound and the Ageless, who really is Kado Thorne and his time machine, what were those strange lights in the background mountains throughout all the Chapters, and how exactly did we get to Season OG and what it is, who exactly was in those rockets during the Big Bang event. To make it worse, there's probably still even much more than all of this; there's a ton of unresolved lore going back years, half a decade and possibly even longer, that Epic NEEDS to explain.

This video is actually a really good explanation of the complex Fortnite storyline, which is normally spread across countless forums and videos. GGS T5G! I use your code when I buy stuff sometimes, but I like to help out different creators. Still I always like new uploads from you!

I started playing Fortnite last year when Chapter 3 had started and I found T5G’s channel when I was looking up the storyline of Fortnite to learn about the lore of the game. I’ve enjoyed his videos and I know this one will be as good and looking forward to Chapter 5.

i love how detailed this was, but i feel like some things were missing. A key part of Chapter 3 into Chapter 4 was Evie and The Peace Syndicate. What happened to them, and where did everyone related to the syndicates go? Especially because of the new Drift skins bundle in the shop being related to Drift being a part of the Fox Clan, who were close with The Peace Syndicate, alongside the other factions of Mega City.

How fitting that the beginning of the storyline on the chapter one map also ends there with this new storyline direction. I’ll miss chapter one’s map, and I hope we see it again but I’m excited to see what Epic does next

I always wondered about the Ice and Fire Kings….now it makes more sense. It turns out the ice king was good all along. This video will be documented as one of the most important in terms of the history and story of Fortnite for years to come. This is you and your team’s grandest work. Amazing job!

All this so epic can have an excuse to add pop culture characters to the item shop 💀

6:00 you never talked about the Vault in Loot Lake or the Unvaulting event and how/why the zero point appears so different than any other time we’ve seen it. Considering this event led to the volcano eruption that destroyed Tilted Towers and led to the new Neo Tilted (which you also conveniently left out) this is a pretty big sequence of events in the maps history to just skip over.

This breakdown skips most of the clan stuff during chapter 4 that happened around the time Mega City showed up, which makes me think none of that was really that important in hindsight. Filler stuff. Regardless, this is the clearest breakdown I've heard of the entire story so far, and I've tried to watch a couple. Excellent vid and breakdown! I feel fully caught up even though I've been playing since ch3.

The storyline videos are what made me a fan of Top5gaming in the first place. Love this

Jonesy and the foundation entered the zero point at the end of the collision event. One of the sisters died trying to kill Geno while the other one was saved by wolverine.

It was originally supposed to be Geno and the imagin but they changed it to be Imagin and Gunner

I have a civilization project for one of my classes in school right now. Me and my two friends are doing one on Fortnite. We can be creative and it can be on whatever we want so we chose that. I can’t say how much this is helping us with our project right now bro. Thank you!

Loved that this video was a little slower paced. (Sometimes you go too fast for me 😜). The one thing I don’t understand is why Epic didn’t release the footage of the Zero point protecting itself. How would anyone understand what happened if it weren’t for leakers? The storyline is a huge part of the game for me, so I hope they have a strong comeback soon.

This was exactly what I needed. I never really knew the storyline cause Iv'e been fighting off the sweats the last 5 years! Peace and Love to all.

I definitely appreciate this because I love timeline videos, but wouldn't it have been better to wait until Chapter 4 officially ended and moved into Chapter 5? It'll feel like it's incomplete

I just started playing Fortnite with Chapter 5. Although I missed the events detailed in this video, it’s cool to be in on the fresh start that this chapter brought. Great video!

I just hope they don't leave... EVERYTHING behind. It'd be nice if wherever we are going held the answers to questions of the past. Did Geno ever rebuild himself???? What happened to the Chromed Seven???? Did they turn evil????? I really hope they don't leave those questions unanswered... Even an audio log will do it for me at this point 😭

I am also sided with Dr. Slone. But I hail Lord Redstone. Redstone's(AKA Dr. Soundshock)reality sides with Slone and they both summon Unicron and he betrays them and slowly devours the world while summoning monsters to stop everyone attempting to restore reality.

Yeah no matter how many times I watch this I still never understand the story

wow awesome vid!!! as someone that didn't start in the og times and couldn't go to any live event this gives me a lot of joy and love for fortite as it isn't just a battle royal but also a whole storey and a different universe to ours. Ty for banger vid i loved it "W!"
