    In my culture (Indigenous people of Sabah, Malaysia) KadazanDusun believes that sweet flag root (komburongo in my native language)have magical power to connect us with the spirit world. The bobolian (Shaman) will encounter with the spirit using sweet flag. This plant is not a native plant in my state but it amaze me how my people using this plant and how my ancestor know about this plant.
