the only mission where: - it gets you hype after playing the previous mission (f Ghost/Roach) - two sides fighting each other and you're in the middle of it - Price actually get in contact with Makarov and exchanged dialogue with him - it's the end of TF141 - the godlike Hans Zimmer soundtrack (yes, it is him) that solidifies the experience. MW2 is truly awesome. and to see/play it in Remastered, man what else can we hope for?

Music is epic. I love it.

I remember playing this in 2009 when I was 8 years old, and when Rook died it hit me right in the feels... I restarted the mission like 6 times to try saving Rook, one time even carrying an RPG to destroy the black car, but of course Rook was scripted to die... With him, TF141 ended, leaving only a bunch of discredited soldier alone to fight.

He is a australian task force soldier and also a final last soldier He just made it to get on plane but shadow company killed him. Did you played mw2 if not then watch video you will see him

Dragon Actual: That’s a detail that really bug me in the Original, how the hell did the car stopped if the leg of Rook’s corps was still on the accelerator, I’ve always thought Soap use his own leg to kick Rook’s leg from the accelerator the second they enter the Cargo Bay of the plane. The other detail I like that this time it was a ruff entrance even accidentally breaking the Cargo Bay’s latter to the copilot, unlike the unconventional smooth entrance of the original. Say what you want about the remaster but it has everything I wanted from the Original MW2.

One of the most chaotic missions ever. I guess this is how it feels like when your in the middle of a battle between 2 superpowers

Well, the same logic applies with B is enemies with A and C is enemies with A so B and C would be friends. Essentially he is saying even if they work together for just a second, they are still enemies and nothing is stopping them from working together with another enemy of Price's.

It’s also a foreshadow of MW3 When you find out that Yuri knew Makorov, then this foreshadow is revealed. The enemy of my enemy is my friend. Yuri is the enemy of Makorov, who is the enemy of Price, who befriends Yuri. Therefore the enemy of Makorov is Price’s ally.

I reseted the checkpoint like 50 times to try and save Rook (even taking an RPG with the Infinite Ammo intel cheat a few times) to try and save him. But of course he's scripted to die 😢😭 if only rook survived and made it to Site Hotel Bravo

The dialogue between Price and Makarov is absolutely perfect. Price is able to poke and prod at Makarov and Makarov knows its in his best interest not to give Price anything. But Price knows him too well and can with just words get under his skin to make him talk. And not just talk either but also convince Makarov that he needs Price as much as Price needs him. Again just beautiful

My favorite mission from MW2. The chaotic faction warfare, the music, Price and Makarov's chat. So memorable

I'm confused, People are saying that the voice actors changed or they re-done these voice lines but it's been so long since I've played MW2 I'm quite unsure, can anyone clarify on this?

Several of the extras have new voice actors, many additional lines were added in, and the game used lines from the original game that didn't make it in or placed greater emphasis on lines that were formerly in the background. I can't actually verify this as the voice cast was not credited for this project.

Marshall Thompson That’s correct. There are plenty of voicelines in MW2 that never made it to the game and MW2R finally added them in. For example; in just like old times, starting at the scene where Shadow Company is able to breach their steam room, you can hear voicelines that the original MW2 didn’t use and were in the game files.

Pretty sure it's just better mastering. There are definitely some additions in certain missions. The DC sequence is one that comes to mind. Of Their Own Accord has many new added lines to add to the drama and well, flesh out the evacuation efforts of the US Military in DC. I haven't gone through every single mission but when I watched it, I was definitely impressed with everything during that mission. For me, and this is just my opinion. The sequence of missions in DC beginning with Of Their Own Accord, moving to Second Sun, and ending with Whiskey Hotel is undoubtedly the best in all of COD.

I just finished this campaign. I’ve never played this game before, and I gotta say, this is my favorite campaign of all time

if Rook wasn't a badass when it came to driving, Soap and Price would've both died. So that means MW3 would've never happened, Shepard would still be alive, Makarov would still be alive, and many bad things Show Rook some respect.

This is the best ever.. honestly they could have finished the game with Roach and Ghost but it’s what was needed for the story. The intros, the music, the characters, the story it is why it was one one the best Call of Duty Games ever.

still the most intense mission, nothing but all out war at a small boneyard.

Honestly one of my favorite missions in the modern warfare trilogy. I love that its not one side shooting your way but 3 sides fighting each other.

The exchange between Price and Makarov is so fucking great.

The music an the story telling combined, make this the best COD level ever! I remember first playing it an I Was still pissed that Shepherd killed Ghost 👻

Rip Archer, Toad, Ozone, Scarecrow, Ghost, and Roach. Six task force 141 characters that weren’t side characters because they were in multiple missions and helped out. And in this one rip Rook. This elite force was literally taken out by Shepherd. 🤦🏽‍♂️ But what ever happened to Worm?

Don't rush through the stage, take your own time... You'll know how depressing and painfully beautiful the background music is......

Ernest Wang Almost every mission in MW1 on veteran is harder then this. Mile high club on veteran is probably the hardest mission of all time

Lol. It looked like it phased through him.

One of my top missions ever in a single player game, i was so into it and theme was made from Hanz Zimmer legend. They don't make these games anymore xD

Man the storyline in this one mission, I’m still surprised Mackarov even responded to Price, quite the conversation 😂

The music really got me in this mission, you can feel the sense of betrayal and loss of unity in it....

I always liked the idea of rivals turned allies even for just a few moments, says a lot about people who are willing to look past old hates to achieve their goals.
