The Endless Stairs in Minecraft
I remade the Endless Stairs from Super Mario 64 in Minecraft, which are fully functional through the use of a command block!
=======[ How it works ]=======
Once the player approaches a certain point on the stairs, a command block will sense that the player is near it and will teleport them down the stairs a bit, creating the illusion that the stairs loop forever. This is the same technique Nintendo used in the actual game!
Here's the command used in the video if you're interested:
execute if entity @a[distance=..3.82] positioned as @a[distance=..3.82] run tp @a[distance=..3.82] ~4 ~-4 ~
This will only work if the staircase is going west and each repeating segment of the staircase is 4 blocks long, but you can tweak the teleportation coordinates to work in other situations.
=======[ Other notes ]=======
The Backwards Long Jump was done by turning off the teleportation command block and enabling another one which gives a speed potion effect to the player. There seemed to be a limit on how fast I could travel up stairs with the speed effect (increasing the effect any more would only affect horizontal speed), so I edited the BLJ section of the video to go even faster to make it more like the actual glitch.
The paintings of Bowser and Peach were imported into the game using ImageOnMap, a plugin for importing images to Minecraft maps which can then be placed on item frames.
The shaders used are Sildur's Shaders. I adjusted the lighting settings in the shader's settings to be appear red so it was more accurate to the lighting of the stairs in Mario 64.
I did not make the Mario skin used in this video. I'm not sure who the original creator is, but you can find it by searching up 'mario minecraft skin' online since its very common and has been around a long time.

    Just activate Auto jump then replace stairs with blocks, then put a pressure plate on one of the blocks, then make it smh invis, so, BOOM! Endless stairs for newbies acquired
