I'm sorry to hear about it Trevor. And I wish KZread could see this full in-depth video because I was one of the many editors affected by this decision. I even had a video in the works that was to be due this week. It will be "The Complete History of UHF" which contains lots of fun original insights by Trevor regarding the actors, crew-mates, and drama in the creation of the Weird Al movie. I even bought the Blu-Ray, split up the clips in a way that it doesn't dominate the video, and did a ton of research on top of Trevor's research to make that video happen. I''ll still finish the video this week, but there's no gurantee that the video would come out unless KZread changes their minds over it. So I will pray that things will change. It's astonishing why KZread does this. There's got to be more than just "money" as the reason they protect all the groomers, hate speech flingers, religious nutjobs, misinformation artists, bootleg "kids" channels and all the other creeps and wierdos on the site. Part of me wonders if someone at Google's allowing them to do it. I hate the "reused content" rule, it affects literally everyone besides people like SSSniperwolf or tons of low-quality commentary/reaction/AI-generated channels... y'know the type of people YT promised to take down? like KZread will punish you financially if you stray even remotely away from your usual video format or release schedule... but then will strike you down if your content is even remotely similar to someone else's video or a previous video even slightly similar than your current video. This platform is such a joke now, and we can't do anything about it. There's no competition viable enough to move away from KZread, mainly thanks to Google's monopoly. Vimeo became a job portfolio website, BitChute became an actual hate-infested mess, Nico Nico Douga cut its support for North America, Dailymotion became The Pirate Bay for lazy people, and Rumble is still barely a functional site. The only way to fight against YT is using Twitter to argue against -an unresponsive bot- KZread Support, but even that barely works most of the time. I doubt things will change, but hey, maybe you'll get lucky enough to get your channel back in track when Half-Life 3 comes out. Good luck, mate. Sorry for the pessimism, this isn't against you obviously. This is a vent against YT.

But if online content creation is something that genuinely appeals to you, than you shouldn't give up, you can do it and well be behind you in some way or another. I'm sorry to hear about it Trevor. And I wish KZread could see this full in-depth video because I was one of the many editors affected by this decision. I even had a video in the works that was to be due this week. It will be "The Complete History of UHF" which contains lots of fun original insights by Trevor regarding the actors, crew-mates, and drama in the creation of the Weird Al movie. I even bought the Blu-Ray, split up the clips in a way that it doesn't dominate the video, and did a ton of research on top of Trevor's research to make that video happen. I''ll still finish the video this week, but there's no gurantee that the video would come out unless KZread changes their minds over it. So I will pray that things will change. Thank you so much for uploading this video; I hope this video goes far and wide.

If he's lucky, maybe a big enough stink will see him better off on the other side of this as a channel. Everyone knows youtube's policy sucks. I wouldn't count this channel out yet. All it takes is the right plan and enough people. Speaking out on youtube is a good first step.

That was my first paid voice acting gig and it was a dream come true to voice act in a project. It’s inspiring me to do more projects and come out of my sheltered shell. It's astonishing why KZread does this. There's got to be more than just "money" as the reason they protect all the groomers, hate speech flingers, religious nutjobs, misinformation artists, bootleg "kids" channels and all the other creeps and wierdos on the site. Part of me wonders if someone at Google's allowing them to do it. Because the "money" and "greed" excuses can only go so far when you have channels flinging anti-government/religion/liberal/whatever propaganda, racism and bigotry, grooming, or stealing people's content in the most fragrant ways imaginable. Especially since all of those are things that'd get most advertisers to nope on the fuck out.
Fuck KZread for this. As one of the editors / the resident thumbnail maker for this channel, it beyond devastates me to see KZread basically kill a channel that I know firsthand is made by wonderful and talented people (Kawika, LovelyLivelyV, Billy H.L. etc, and ESPECIALLY its #1 creator Trevor). This is a bullshit claim and KZread more than likely knows it; they just don't care. They don't care about independent creators. I'll forever stand behind Trevor in this situation no matter what.

I hate the "reused content" rule, it affects literally everyone besides people like SSSniperwolf or tons of low-quality commentary/reaction/AI-generated channels... y'know the type of people YT promised to take down? like KZread will punish you financially if you stray even remotely away from your usual video format or release schedule... but then will strike you down if your content is even remotely similar to someone else's video or a previous video even slightly similar than your current video. This platform is such a joke now, and we can't do anything about it. There's no competition viable enough to move away from KZread, mainly thanks to Google's monopoly. Vimeo became a job portfolio website, BitChute became an actual hate-infested mess, Nico Nico Douga cut its support for North America, Dailymotion became The Pirate Bay for lazy people, and Rumble is still barely a functional site. The only way to fight against YT is using Twitter to argue against -an unresponsive bot- KZread Support, but even that barely works most of the time. I doubt things will change, but hey, maybe you'll get lucky enough to get your channel back in track when Half-Life 3 comes out. Good luck, mate. Sorry for the pessimism, this isn't against you obviously. This is a vent against YT.

KZread has been so incompetent for god knows how many years. I truly wanted to believe it got better but no it’s still just as bad. Like sure let’s promote those who are rich, famous, don’t do have to do jack to rake in all the cash, and maybe even dox people get no reprimanding, while the creators that actually put in the effort to make sure their content is the best get the worst inflicted on them for dare existing on this platform. I’m so sorry this is happening, Trevor, this is such a targeted claim from KZreads end and them plugging their ears not even wanting to hear you out enrages me to no end. Modern KZread is a literal dystopian nightmare. I just wish that even for a second, KZread would actually understand fair use and properly transformative content isn't copyright infringement. How is it that actually GOOD channels like this one (I love listening to your VeggieTales and (X) vs. The Network commentaries), @AugusttheDuck (check him out by the way), and @SMG4 (check him out, too) get so much flack and trouble, while others like SSSniperwolf, Dhar Mann, and MrBeast still get props despite making very stupid decisions that should ruin their careers, but KZread keeps them because they are moneymakers for them! Sucks man, I just found your channel two or three weeks ago and fell in love with it. I especially like the Network Vs. series for what it's worth. Maybe not today, but someday soon they are going to lose a long-term user for good because their incompetent management of this place over the last...I dont even know now, five, six years? It might not be anything money-wise, but at least you got to see a number tick up, and know that some other user cares about this channel. It also sucks that I didn’t get to see the video about UHF, since it’s my favorite film of all time. Also, about the comment around here ( 5:25 ), yep. Some guy has been uploading Adult Swim broadcasts from the 2000’s. Episodes of Mission Hill, The Oblongs, Aqua Teen Hunger Force, just everything. He hasn’t gotten copyrighted yet. And yet people like you, There I Ruined It, and so many other channels get fucked by corporate bigwigs, even when your stuff is protected under fair use.
