Seems strong, but not broaken, which is fine, decent event where the player and WG gets something. Don't think it will replace tanks in CW meta, but it will be decent in randoms.

@@tvoikalduoi123 Chieftain is targetted more due to its solid armor - you have to take your chances in damaging it when it is out of position, otherwise often you won't be able to do much (I'm not talking about situations where chief is alone vs 3 other tanks etc. where you can just rush and outdpm him). This one is targetted (for now) because it is new - later might get a bit more "love" than tech tree tanks too, but I don't think it will be as severe as in chief's case.

I love that wargaming is listening to us and is not making as many busted but fun tanks

Sidescraping seems slightly problematic because of that raised section of engine deck, as well as the sides of the upper hull on either side of the shovel.

about sidescrapping: problem later on wouldn't be a higher plate by doing it, but extremly fragile weakspot behind turret where engine goes, with 30mm of armour, making it pen even by he shell, so its important to be very intuitive in rotating hull, and make slightly different tactic about it just to not let hit this place

279 was nerfed, also the tank isn't even that good, it's just only player by good players pretty much. You can easily pen it with kpz's gun it has 340mm HEAT

it is sad to see a game that was my favourite for years fade away...

The main streght of this vehicle is the shovel, if it was not there tier 10 standart could pen it on the neck even under it but since it is there it makes so that area is.around 400 mm (heat could only dream of pening that spaced)

Just remember the two holes in the shovel at the top corners where the headlights are behind it. The visual model has a grate there, but unlike the Strv 103's HEAT fence it isn't part of the armor model.

Just as I expected. This thing has high potential but it requires extreme game knowledge. Even though it's very hard to play properly, it will without a doubt end up having the highest MoE requirement among all Assembly Shop tanks.

I will personally take the tank (I have so many resources that even after taking it, i will still have a shit ton of resources so not a big deal). Overall, the tank seems very interesting. It has a good mobility, a good gun, a good reload time and the armor seems not very good (can troll sometimes but doesn't seem reliable). I'm very happy the tank is good without being op. I like people complaining about the fact that it's too expensive for what it is but when op tanks come out, they cry because it's "p2w" and shit. I personally think it might clearly be a 4k tank.

Lucky you ! not everyone has loads of recources, however you acheived it !!! its more than 4k, and if its a very accurate heavy and you don't need to have played the game much then just get your card out, right ?? Too many quick battles, and too many Pay to WIN tanks. no wonder Wargaming is doing ok. they are making a fortune from Wallet warriors !!!

I'm sorry for those who don't have enough resources but that's how it is. It's not a p2w tank btw. Bad players won't do well with it most likely and good players will do good just like most of the other tanks. It's an interesting tank tho

I play like 3-5 games a day and not 7 days a week( i played a lot like 5-9 years ago, but not any more). i had free exp for lion and i have it for this tank as well. not because i trade gold for free ex, but because i have grind free exp for year not spending it at all and now, this year i decided to sped it along with blue print fragments. so yeah, that is how it goes.

Thanks for showing the tank, will probaly just get it. The webcam is a bit confusing since it doesn't match the gameplay, but yeah :D

I got one, first game out was trying to fight a platoon of Chieftains over a ridgeline, I didn't bounce anything, they penned my turret everywhere, not yhe actual cuppola weskspot, just everywhere, even straight through the mantlet 😅, against tier 8s it worked well though.

Weird for me to see new tanks and maps, but to hear good ol' gun sounds... nostalgia hits different. Nice gun btw.

Yep that happened to me, a Chieftain penned my engine deck with HE, It happened almost every time I tried to sidescrape last night, I'm just avoing sidescraping at all now, even without the weaspot from sidescraping, I found tier 10s can just fire gold straight through your turret anyway.

Skill issue

You shooted the udes more than 95% degree armor (between turret and the body). This situation teh Heat shell will always not penetrated.

@@zeroyuki92 its still in supertest, and the onlky thing early gets nerfed on is mobility and 1 sec more reload, which for competitive gameplay doesnt matter cus the early is a hold tank not a push tank... ;)

Since it has actual weakspots (holes in the upper corners of the spaced armor dozer blade, a cupola that's bigger than a single pixel, the raised engine deck if it sidescrapes), I don't think it can be called another Chieftain.

that is a solid comparison to be fair. i think kpz 50t is better. of course we have not played the new one yet and in the first glance they always seem better than they are. after some time it will not be that kind of a fast forward tank you see CC-s playing them now. just as concept 1b changed.

Keep in mind that he is playing this tank pre-release, so people won't know how to pen him. After a few months it will be a different story after people have had time to get used to seeing this tank in the battlefield.
