There must be really NO real crime there in order to have that many police worried about something so inconsequential.

I am currently in Monaco on vacation and I have noticed the quietness in the air from the lack of super cars. Also, there are a lot of police officers stationed in hiding spots ready to pop out to catch a supercar. Its kinda tense between them and the locals seem happy. Wish there were more of them.

Yes, this sadly happened. You can't discuss with this police. They say either you pay or we take the car. Of course some were misbehaving, but others didn't do anything and got their car taken

Very good. It is cool to see these cars when you are just visiting Monaco, but if you want a quiet and civilised place to live then all of these cars accelerating on purpose is unnecessary. You can put the loud exhaust mode on outside the city.

I can understand, that they stop certain people that go really fast in the tunnel or elsewhere in those narrow streets. But some things are just so ridiculous. I mean, if someone revs his engine, what can happen? Nothing...yeah, it's loud, but the F1 race (plus all the other races that weekend) is even louder! So if you don't like it, why did you move to Monaco?!

At least they have nice supercar sounds. Maybe they should move elsewhere, like the german "Ruhrgebiet" where you have highways ("Autobahn") everywhere and lots of trucks passing by. Same noise levels, or maybe even higher, but not as nice. Oh, and if you live in one of the most dense populated areas in the world, you can't complain about traffic noise. If they don't like it, they need to move to e.g. St. Tropez...

Not at all. How many of those cars have Monegasque car plates? None of them. They do not give money to Monaco, they come to Saint Tropez or Antibes in France from whole Europe and they go to Monaco to show off. Very often they do not spend even 1 euro there. I was in South of France on holidays and you could see many cars from Monaco there. Seems like their own citizens like more to be abord country during summer, because of this mess.. Monaco in itself earns money on casino, yacht clubs and tourists visiting Southern France who come to Monaco to see and they spend their money

when i see police catching cars in Monaco looks like one of the most enjoyable and funny moments to see on youtube

Sympa les super-cars, le reste de savoir que la police fait ça ou ça pour ces raisons là ou d'autres raisons est en soit du superflus. Les insultes des autres me font bien rire, a croire qu'une amende de 300 EUR et la confiscation d'une voiture a plus de 200 ou 400.000 eur pour 48h (lois propre sur Monaco) va changer quoique ce soit dans la manière (ou l'absence de manière des conducteurs), par contre je voudrais pas être le responsable de la fourrière ... J'imagine même pas une égratignure sur une de ces super-cars !!! Pour ma part j'ai modifie une 320i E46 (cuir/clim/TV/frigo) en 100% électrique via 1 moteur 34kw/roue et une Wallbox Tesla, le tout immatriculée en dehors de l'EU (car impossible a la passer à homologuer en Europe) au nom de ma sœur (assurée en Full TR) et je peux l'utiliser tranquille ici en Suisse... Franchement, je ne serais pas quoi faire avec une Ferrari à part la vendre au plus vite !!!

No sé de qué parte del mundo seas, pero en Europa son muy exigentes con las reglas de ruido, es un lugar donde la población es muy densa. Imagina tener este ruido casi cada mes, le quitan la plusvalía a las casas, es el trabajo de los oficiales hacer cumplir la ley, ellos son trabajadores del gobierno y el gobierno si es dueño de las calles

Si en dónde vivís hicieran eso a diario veríamos si os agrada el ruido, además que más de uno puede provocar un accidente teniendo tantos CV bajo el pedal sin ninguna clase de experiencia. Si te gusta correr y enseñar tu vehículo hay muchos lugares y circuitos cerrados donde puedes ir y disfrutar y no dando vueltas a una pequeña población siempre por las mismas calles y túneles..que hay de excitante en eso ! Nada , solo tonterías y pago en metálico por hacerlas ..vete a un circuito o a concentraciónes y podrás exhibir y dar gas y si tienes manos pilotar

Dreamwear Es scheint teilweise willkürlich zu sein, weil Autos auch beschlagnahmt wurden, die nur einen Hügel runtergerollt sind oder nur runtergeschalten haben. Die sagen dann das Auto wär zu laut, obwohl es in Monaco keinen TÜV oder sowas gibt bzw die beschlagnahmten Autos teilweise Serie waren....

Well, they do to be honest. They block traffic on Monaco's thight streets. They are noisy and they bring thousands of poor idiots who come to Monaco just to take video of them. People living there had to pay a lot of money for their appartments there and Monaco is very often impossible to live in because of this mess. I have nothing against supercars but so many of them in such a small place is not good either. Nice would be much better
