The End of 2D Kirby

Ойындар

Nintendo just loves the end of the world. It's become a trend for the Big N to place their iconic franchises into post-apocalyptical scenarios. But Kirby is no stranger to the end of the world, so his newest adventure on an abandoned Earth is one that fits the ethos of the series well. But with this being Kirby's first 3D adventure, can the pink puff ball make the dimensional leap so many other platforming mascots failed to execute all those years ago? He's Kirby; he can fly. Of course he did.

Also the music slaps. It feels so good to get original music again instead of remixes, JUST LIKE RETURN TO DREAMLAND OH MY GOD

I haven’t had a Kirby game felt this original, this substantial, this era-changing, this *E P I C* since Return to Dreamland in 2011 and that was my favorite game. Now it’s Forgotten Land. This truly feels like the new era. I loved the formula RtDl did on the Wii and how new that game felt, but then they did it over and over and over again. DON’T GET ME WRONG, Planet Robobot is a BANGER of a game, but you know I honestly wished that it (the RtDl formula) ended in that game, to make a perfect trilogy: Return to Dreamland, Triple Deluxe and Planet Robobot. Because Star Allies felt like a game they rushed out so they can have a Kirby game on the Switch and not because they had any new original ideas, but then thought some cool ideas 3 months after the game launched. But THIS. This right here?? This felt like a game that could grow into an era of something new. I know I said I got sick of the RtDl era after the fourth game, but this right here? (Forgotten Land formula) I don’t think I’ll get sick of this. I want more NOW. The sense of euphoria when I 100% this game knowing that this was worth the 4 year wait and that this is Kirby is gonna be for here on forward was unreal. I cannot wait.
