Teori Johnson yup manurewa is really empty especially southmall! It’s usually full of cars and people walking up and down but I’ve only seen like 5 people max on the street there and the roads are dead only thing that’s booking is the damn line for the supermarket lol

Bro someone drove around my street playing The Purge siren. I almost cried because of how beautiful it was.

This is rare, we are in the CBD and there’s more cars than i thought there would be

South Auckland is very densily populated u could fit the whole population of Wellington and Palmerston north in The city of Manukau in it 600.000 people live in this greater part of the metropolitan

The city looks so much better without traffic jams.

When was this? I live in the Mt Roskill area and the streets are carrying on as normal, just very quiet in the morning

Not sure when this footage was shot, as I live close to the bridge that spans the motorway exit, the Westmere tunnel and have noticed roads are still busy, all hours. The motorway heading into tunnel (north and south) and surrounding streets. There is too much traffic on the roads, people aren't taking lockdown seriously.

There were heaps of people out and about today in small town NZ too, on day 7 of the lockdown.

Um I live in Auckland and every single day I have gone out to drive to work, I have seen busy roads full of people and cars. I do shift work and I have seen heaps of cars at all sorts of hours. You can't tell me that even half of them are essential workers or going to the supermarket all at the same time! People need to take the lockdown seriously, I am only saying this because the more people go out the higher the transmission rates will be. This could by extension hurt my own loved ones, I don't care if people hurt themselves but find another way to do it without endangering my loved ones.

They must of taken this early early in the morning or on a sunday because as an essential worker who drives from south akl to balmoral daily, Ive never seen dominion rd empty like that during the lockdown. There are nearly always people out & about sometimes even when I drive home late at night🤷‍♀️. Southside on the other hand is pretty quiet (well in my area) Ive seen ppl exercising & heard the odd hoon driving down the street but thats about it.

I yesterday I left home 5.30pm Bollard Avondale and saw people on street walking or on front by footpath talking to neighbors which is normal now but much more than b4 this close down. Started work 6pm driving truck manukau onehunga downtown wharf etc and there still a few cars on road. However less than last week and much less roadworks. Not eerie like how video shows but if continues could be true.
